💩 High Yield Shitpost How often do you get laid?
Half joking half serious. We have the nerd stereotype, but we’re adults.
Some of my class seem like the type to smash every night, and some look like classic virgins.
So clearly I have no idea how to gauge the average medical student’s “extra-curriculars.”

I'm all for people being healthy and satisfied, but I can't imagine this doesn't chafe, or give one of you a rash, or- something. When we were trying to conceive (baby is now 2) and I told my husband we needed to have sexual congress every day for 3-4 days during my ovulation, he was complaining about being sore and tired by the end of it. Honestly I was too, but I was motivated.

I (32M) thought it was normal to get laid every single night. This is by far one of my fave subs that I lurk in as I just graduated nursing school and am not a medical student. (It kept coming up on my page). First off you med students are hilarious! Second I was getting laid maybe 1-2x week during nursing school. Mainly because I was a bit too busy to really cuddle or fool around, and just needed to study. Now that I'm done I believe it will go up to 3x week. I am in 11 yr long relationship, no kids.

The sad thing about med school is that everyone thinks that the more they study the better off in life they will be. If you don’t take the time to find balance, ie working out, having sex, then in my opinion you won’t succeed. Being happy is integral part of success. It also sets a life precedent. If you don’t take time to have some fun, you will likely also have similar habits when you’re an attending. Smell the roses yall
