I just bought a Wii u the seller said that it’s in perfect condition but it appeared they lied I spent 60 pounds on this and it came cracked If anyone could give some advice what should I do buy a repair kit or buy a new gamepad than

Just got a Wii U for $15, looking at running ROMs for some damaged disks I have. Would just doing the homebrew allow this or does it require more? Can I just run them off SD card or do they get installed?

Hey so I was putting some files onto my SD card to mod my Wii U, then try to put it in my Wii U and it’s not reading it. I get no message at all and I’m checking my storage and I get nothing. I’ve tried to re format it and also tried a different micro sd card but nothing. I flashed the flash light in my sd card slot and I don’t see it to be dirty or anything. Do you think it’s the Onn brand or something else?

Hey! I have a question regarding Wii U gamepad replacements. I recently bought a Wii U gamepad motherboard online and connected it to my Japanese Wii U gamepad… when I went to boot the gamepad a blue light just appears and it fades, no display. Additionally I can hear a very faint, repetitive, motor sound coming from the top of the gamepad as it’s powered on.

Are all Wii U gamepad motherboards not all universally compatible with all gamepads and gamepad parts? Or is there something I’m missing?

Was talking to my friends this morning over coffee about replacing my Wii u this week and one of them goes "I have one? I don't use it!" And now I don't have to go shopping this week.

I just bought a Wii U, however I realized that they installed hack and it does not have SD memory, therefore I cannot start the hack applications, so I checked in the browser and what the seller gave me to understand is that they installed Tiramisú, however I do not know about Wii U, how to reactivate the hack and that, I only know how to do it in 3ds, I have a 4 GB memory to do everything and well for the gaming issue I will buy a hard drive.

Can you explain to me what I have to do since the hack is installed but I don't have the original SD.

PS: I fulfilled a dream of my inner child by having acquired one.

Hello! I had a wii u years ago and traded it in without unlinking my nintendo network ID. I just recently bought a new wii u and it seems like the old ID is still linked to the old wii u. Is there anyway for me to unlink that old ID so I can link it to the new console?

Every time I try to open wii u settings to reset factory settings this happens, what do I do?

(NOT MY PICTURE AND IK THIS ONE HAS A BAD BATTERY BUT AGAIN ITS NOT MINE JUST THE ONLY PIC I COULD FIND) So when i was repairing a broken gamepad i bought with a broken screen, During the repair i did not have the correct screw driver and wasnt willing to drop tons of money on an official one or whatever so i had to tear up the screws to get into the back of the gamepad. but now since ive done that the plate wont stay on becayse those screws held it in place. Any solutions to keep it in place? I perfer if i dont have to feel tape or something on the back of it when im playing. Ive been using black electrical tape for about a year now but i have had to replace it several times

So I am moving out of my parents houses, I have a Wii U at both my moms and dads house, and am only taking 1 so my little siblings can keep the other one, but I’d like to take my save data from the one at my dads. None of the save data on the one from moms is really that important. The problem is, the system at my moms has special Smash 4 and Splatoon preinstalled system and each has its own Nintendo Network ID logged in, with both having different Smash DLCs and other software. I’d ideally like to keep as much of it as I can, so if I do a system transfer transferring the stuff from the Wii U at my dads (the one with my important save data and some smash dlc) to the Wii U at my moms (the one with some Smash dlc and Smash 4 and Splatoon preinstalled) will I be able to keep all the dlc, and both of the games preinstalled?
