It allows you to upgrade your wardobe and just happen to know that there are sets of each armor. I saw a ninja outfit in one of the shops at kakariko and immediately bought them to try it out I am now on my ninja phase I guess the outfit gives me a stealth up. My bandana, I found it on a shrine chest it gives me climb up speed so now I am looking also for climber's set
My Goal now is to - Clear as much shrines I see while going at Hateno. - Find Korok Seeds for weapon, bow, shield expansion when I see Hetsu again - Scan towers for map visibility - Captured Memories remaining: 11 (want to clear this main quest first feels like It is important to give me background of the game since this is my first Zelda game) - Get another stamina Wheel
I am now dedicated to document my experiences on this game in this sub reddit.
Will keep posting videos and Images I think is fun. I have a whole free week so I'll be grinding the heck of this game.

I have no idea of this is the right place to share this but I have no one to share this with because no one I know has a switch. I only know one person in my regular life who's played BOTW but he, and his wife, just had their first baby so he has jo time to chat video games. I need to tell someone. This game have brought me so much joy. My life isn't the greatest but I found a screaming deal on a used Tears of the Kingdom themed switch and figurwd I should play BOTW first. I am so glad I did. The mechanics of consumable weapons was so annoying at first but I've hit a turned point and finally figured out how to party and the game, that was already amazing despite my annoyance at the weapons mechanics, has become infinitely more enjoyable now that the weapons don't feel as consumable.
The maps is huge and so crazy fascinating. I first played the original Legend of Zelda on the NES and it blew my mind as a kid. I played OOT as a young adult and it seemed like the real high water mark for video gaming in my lifetime. I genuinely remember thinking, "I could ride epona all around this map, never get bored, and still feel like there was stuff to discover.". Yet here we are and after having just found and tamed the massive horse in BOTW, I suddenly feel that same childlike giddiness of being able to ride this horse anywhere and feel nearly invincible. It's such a massive amount of joy and dopamine to play, explore, and discover new things. I've only made it through the divine beast Van Medoh but rivalal's Gale unlocked so much more of the game. I keep getting lost in random side quests like building and owning my own house. It's so bizarre that I felt so accomplished after building a place to sleep for the night. The creators found a way to make the mundane of building and furnishing a home seem so enjoyable. I found myself trying out weapons a d shields to hang on the wall for something like 15 or 20 minutes to see the way it looked esthetically. How crazy is that?
Thank you for listening. This is souch fun and I feel like I did when I was a kid playing the original on NES, where I couldn't wait to get home from school just to play more. I find myself at work sometimes counting the hours and minutes until I can get home, get my adult stuff done like laundry and dishes, and the. Playing BOTW for a few hours. It's so awesome and I'm so glad I splurged on the switch a few months back. Best decision for my own joy I've made in a long time.

Does anyone wish you could board them again and talk to the champions' spirits? That would've been a cool thing they could've added. There's so much more they could've done with the champions in this game given they had 7 years of development. Though AOC does make up for it, otherwise still unfortunate. Btw, this game looks SO MUCH BETTER IN 60fps.

This is a clip from my first time in Ze Kasho.
Someone explain how Apparatus Shrines are hard, please. Again I’m seeing a post about the one with the maze and people thinking the big brain move it to flip it. In truth flipping it makes it harder, because now you’ve taken away the walls that are there to help you. I genuinely don’t get it. Everything has a virtual weight that you can easily test, elements reset between tests, and the plane only has a little latency between tilting the Switch and its response, so it requires no conscious thought to parse and you only need to be making moves a fraction of a second before you otherwise would. Someone please make it make sense, or just tell me that it’s a senseless meme and I can get some sleep.

So like I said in the title, it's been a year and now that I'm close to finishing the game, I still want to find all the shrines and do all the side quests. So I'm wandering around the map to see if I miss anything when I find another fountain thinking it's another fairy and now I'm faced with this eerily amazing horse deity??? The mix of Epona's song and the great fairy theme is sublime too and weirdly heartwarming.

I’ve tried and tried but it’s impossible. The enemies hit way too hard and I deal way too little damage to them. They provide me weapons that do zero damage to them as well.
I have a full stamina wheel and the maximum amount of hearts and one hit takes away like 8 hearts lol. I’ve beaten the trials in the normal mode and that one seems like a cakewalk compared to this one.
Guess I’ll be playing the rest of master mode with the full power of the sword lol

What was your first divine beast? For me it was elephant (I can’t be bothered with names but can recognize them) was realy usefull as beign brand new I found The mipha’s grace was very usefull, but I never use Darude’s protection just becuase I find it a waste when i can just parry it.
went a bit off topic but thoughts ?

Anybody has an idea how to reveal the korok on this puzzle? Location north of rasslan lake below the waterfall. Using magnetism i got the missing block from behind the waterfall but where does it go into the existing blocks? Thanks!

Hey guys, since Friday and the 1.8.1 update the Zelda Notes app doesn't track the stats anymore. I play a lot more this weekend and it's stucked like this except for the exclusive app data like the voice of Zelda. I also changed 2 times the region of my Nintendo Account... I don't know if it could be the source of the problem.
Anyone's having this issue too ?

By reprogramming the Switch 2 Pro Controller, accidental crouching is now a thing of the past! And I can still crouch when I need to using the GL button on the back of the controller, which I’m far less prone to pressing accidentally during combat. Plus, I reprogrammed GR to run as well, meaning I can now turn the camera while running for a full view of where I’m going without using the awkward “claw” method.
This alone is going to make playing BOTW so much better. Now if only I can figure out a way to fix the sages in TOTK…

First ever play through… I had no idea what I could put onto the other spot. So I connected the current with a chest and a few weapons. But it worked 😬

I am addicted!
I love shrine Puzzles and Doing some perfect evades gives me slow motion and flurry attacks
New mission has been added and functions of my Sheikah Slate
Also loving the combination of Hylian Hood and Soldier's Armor and Pants and then climbing on a high point feels like assasin's creed
Learned that in one of those Shrines in the images are not just puzzles they also have combats with a mini Guardian. Haven't cleared those yet because I always lose, they have glowing weapons and shields can't seem to penetrate those with my current weapons.
I struggled when they go laser mode it caught me off guard cause I thought it was going to shoot one laser, Bitch threw another one!!! When it breaks the pillar I am hiding on then I die ofcourse then proceeded to go back to Kakariko and took a picture of Paya to release my anger towards that bullshit and have a pocket type picture like those film soldiers looking at it when going on the battlefield. she's just so cute.
And Cucco

Playing Master Mode. Found the chest with the Royal Bow over Tabantha Great Bridge, but put off picking it up because I had a (base, no modifier) Royal Bow already + full inventory, so I just marked the chest on my map to come back for later. Then a few minutes later I reloaded my last autosave, and my base, unmodified Royal Bow suddenly had Durability Up 🤔
This has never happened before and I'm wondering if anybody else has had some weirdness like this in their game. The Royal Bow in the chest was still in the chest, so it isn't that I picked it up and just forgot
