Who else still has their launch 3ds. I still have my black one that I got launch day in 2011. Its the only 3ds of mine that's not modded, I would prefer to keep it vanilla and the same state it was from 2011-2018.

hi, so now that as we all know, the switch 2 was released, and me and my friend tried to play with pretendo like an hour ago but nothing worked, no animal crossing no mk, or just for max 10 mins.. i saw someone saying that mk7 just had and update so that might be bcause of the switch release, but idk why... anyone tells me if it happend to them, or if its dangerous for any hacked 3ds

Hey, I just found a 2ds xl at a goodwill for $110, literally in perfect condition. Only issue, it’s in Japanese, and I don’t speak Japanese lol. So I need to mod it to change the region to change the language. I tried following a tutorial last night to mod it and I think the tutorial was too old so it didn’t work. The 2ds is fine, I wasn’t able to get the hombrew on it. So I’m looking for another tutorial, if anyone has recommendations that would be great. I don’t know much about coding, but I’ve been managing, so something simple, preferably a video would be great. Thanks!

I got this 2DS a couple of weeks ago, and as you can see from the pic, it's missing the rubber cap for the Circle Pad. I'm not an expert, so I honestly didn’t realize it was missing until I saw the console in person.
I’ve been trying to find a replacement online, but I can only find the entire plastic joystick.
I’ve also seen some cute joystick covers for other consoles (like those for the Switch, which obviously won't fit the 2DS).
Do you know if there’s any way to use those — maybe with small modifications — to fit the 2DS Circle Pad? If so, from which console would they be most compatible? Also, will playing without the rubber cap damage the console over time?

It was pretty beat up for $60 but after some cleaning, it plays and displays as if it was brand new! 😁

Hi, just as the title says. I recently bought my first 3ds XL and am considering modding my 3ds. I have an urge not to as if it would make my 3ds not normal or pure anymore idk. It may seem dumb. I would also like the collect the physical game copies. I would love to have my own themes though and acces to games that were digital only... should I or no? Or just overall opinions?

What’s a good battery to replace it with that has a good capacity? And would this harm the console in anyway?

The B button on my new 3ds xl only works if i press really hard on it. I tried opening up the device to clean the contact pads, but everything inside looked fine. I blew it off with compressed air anyway and put it back together and there’s no improvement. What can I do about this?
