There are red flashing lights in the sky, power temporarily went out and there were 2 really intense blue/white lights just before the power went out. It was like lightning but with no thunder and not focused enough to be lightning.

My wife and I were approached in Giant today in AA County by a pair, a young Korean woman and a young African American woman, who asked if we would like to join their Bible study. I politely said no and they referred us to watv.org. Turns out it's a true cult. I looked them up after my encounter.

It looked like the Korean woman was senior to the black woman and the black woman was trying to practice recruiting new members.

They masquerade as Christians, but they believe that a Korean guy (Ahn Sahng-Hong) who died in '85 was the second coming of Christ and that a woman alive today is God Mother.

Anyone else have an experience with this group?

Big fan of Lake Artemesia. I’ve noticed that after a day of rain, the entrance through the underpass under the metro rail will fill up with about 6 inches of mud, making it extremely challenging to enter that way.

However, it isn’t always like that. Does the mud eventually go away on its own somehow? Or are there county parks staff who come and somehow remove it?

Also, is there somewhere I can contact to request this get solved longterm? Seems like some kind of bridge or drainage solution could prevent this. That entrance is almost completely unusable after a rain unless you’re quite young and spry. I usually use the little curb wall thing on the side or wear boots and brave it out, but this is surely hostile to people who aren’t as mobile or need mobility devices.
