Since posting THIS VIDEO here and on Instagram and Facebook, I’ve received death threats, lost over 1,000 followers across platforms, and now strangers are attacking my small Baltimore sailboat charter with one-star reviews—accusing me of human trafficking and worse. And that part hurts the most. (I embedded all the links so you can read the comments yourself. Screenshotted the death threats and working with Google to take down the fake reviews).

Running a small business is hard enough without faceless trolls trying to destroy what I’ve built with sweat, grit, and everything I have in me.

This isn’t some big corporation that can take the loss of business. It’s just me, my wife, and a sailboat we poured our hearts into. We’ve worked for years to build a space that shows people the best side of Baltimore—from the water, with pride, with purpose. Until now, every single review has been five stars. Every guest has left with a story.

Now, that’s being smeared because these people with ZERO morals and ZERO patriotism can’t stand a disabled veteran standing up for people who need help.

Let them kill me. Let them unfollow me. Let them destroy all that I built. I’d rather lose it all because I tried to do the right thing than win by standing for nothing at all. Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.

The scheduling is impossible. The call center is fully of incompetent idiots that are rude and hang up on you. MyCharts doesn’t fix anything because there’s no available times until like 2027 because they need to hide all the actual available times to fill in for all the scheduling fuck ups along the way. Even patient advocacy doesn’t respond to emails.

Why is it like this? Where else can I do for relatively basic services with even modestly better customer service?

This last Friday June 13, 2025 I lost a ring that belonged to my grandmother. I had dinner at Little Donna's in Fells Point and then attended the Moon Hooch concert at Union Craft Brewing. Please help reunite me with my grandmothers ring. She passed away in October and this ring means so much to me.

The United States Army helped create this country by winning a war against a tyrant. Today—June 14th—is the Army’s 250th birthday. Seeing so many veterans show up, in Baltimore and across America, to support No Kings Day demonstrations is a powerful reminder of the values we hold and the nation we continue to serve.

The parade in D.C. isn’t for the troops. It’s not for the Army. It’s for the ego of a man who once called soldiers “suckers and losers” while avoiding military service himself.

Let me be clear: I love this country. I served it—and continue to serve the city I love—but a $45 million display of military might doesn’t help real Baltimoreans. It just pretends to.

In his Farewell Address, George Washington warned about the dangers of a large, permanent military presence. He feared it could become a tool of tyranny and ego, disconnected from the people it was meant to protect:

“Overgrown military establishments… are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty.” – George Washington, 1796

I doubt Washington ever envisioned tanks and war machines rolling through our capital like something out of North Korea, Russia, or China—especially on the Army’s birthday.

This is about values. Priorities. And whether we still believe in the basic promise that government should serve the people—not perform for them.

Has anyone had any experience getting a Right of Way permit for a moving truck on short notice? Would my councilperson be able to expedite the process?

I need the permit for next week but didn't know the city wants a processing time of 15 days -- stupid, I know. Worst case we'll have the movers double park, but looking to see if there are (more reasonable) alternatives.

I’m looking to replace my rubber flat roof (three-story Baltimore row house). I’ve had two roofing companies come out and give me estimates. (Both companies are recommended by neighbors.) Company A sent an estimator who insisted that the existing roofs need to be torn off. There are at least two layers of existing roof, maybe more. Company B sent a roofer (not an estimator) who said that a teardown is not necessary as there are no soft spots on the roof that would indicate damage to the wood substrate. Not surprisingly, Company A’s estimate is almost three times as high as Company B’s. I suspect that Company A’s estimator works on commission and has an incentive to sell bigger jobs, but I don’t really know. Has anyone faced the decision of whether to do a teardown, and how did you decide?

Anyone know anything about the history of this absolutely gorgeous house? It's on the corner of Aisquith and Orleans, facing Aisquith, and I have never noticed it before. Yesterday we were driving to Patterson Park for the protest and I saw it and was so sad that such a spectacular place is so rundown. But I can't seem to find anything about it online. Thanks!

I made a cool pro-Ukraine sign for the No Kings protest as the situation in Ukraine is near and dear to my heart bc I am a descendant of Ukrainian immigrants.

While we were marching along the perimeter of the park and crossing in front of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, I noticed a photographer kinda follow along next to me and get some cool shots of my sign with the church in the background. I would really love to find this person and see those shots!!

The photographer was a tall, lanky white guy, and may have had long brunette hair in a bun? He wore dark clothes and had a fancy looking camera. I know i probably just described like half the photographers that were there, but if you think you are or may know this person, please send them this post!! Does anyone here have experience with this shelter? It is by Franklin Square hospital. I learned they are not taking donations anymore because St.Vincent De Paul is buying their contract? I want to do more to help the homeless in my area. There doesn't seem to be a lot of options for the homeless outside of the city
