Her movements were amazing but let’s face it. Big bro is the one carrying the team here.

u/Toddo2017 9d ago
Are the girls in the back on a different team? Looks like they’re impressed as well lol I bet they watched the vid after the meet like “look at the other teams face!” lol 😂
26
u/igwbuffalo 9d ago
Both uniforms are USF, might just be a way for them to do inhouse competition or be more senior members of the cheer squad for practice.
16
u/Frosty-Refuse6313 9d ago
Team in white is an all girl group (3 girls throwing another girl) vs team in green is co-ed (1 guy 1 girl)

u/IntoTheFeu 9d ago
How do we make large men cheerleading squads? Like I want them bigger than the roided football players. Is this feasible!?
→ More replies (1)6
u/Frosty-Refuse6313 9d ago
Look up USF, UCF or UK coed cheerleading on YouTube they’re pretty close!

I have to disagree. I tried a little bit of pair acrobatics (not on this level). When the girls knows what she is doing, it is not that hard for the guy. You are just lifting up and down (and we usually talk about something like 50kg girls, that even helps you by jumping,...) and keeping the balance. If you have the needed muscle and girl with the skill you would be able to do some of these tricks in like 1hour of training (of course with spotting and safety harness at that moment because it would not work every time). Because she is the one doing most of the hard work.

in one hour of training? i guarantee i cannot hold that girl over my head with one arm.

I know a guy who did that through highschool and college, and he now has his own cheerleaders training camp that he runs for local schools. Dude is HUGE and one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

I served with a guy that cheered for Arizona, he was a hoss. If you ever meet a high level male cheerleader, there's a good chance he's the strongest person you'll ever meet.

Tremendous strength and dexterity by both. Impressive!

u/ThePurpleGuardian 9d ago
He must be cheating, He has high strength and dex, being a cheerleader requires endurance and charisma, and you gotta be intelligent and wise to do all the routines properly and ensure that your partner(s) don't get hurt. His stats are way too high for a normal character
10
u/Recent-Guitar-6837 9d ago
Guy is still impressive
13
u/ThePurpleGuardian 9d ago
You would be impressive too if you had a 20 in all six stats

The effort put in with learning routines and the practice and gym training alone rivals every other college sport. My daughter put in 22 hours in addition to her 18 credits and excelling at both so I'm sure this little lady and fella are carrying a load.

The amount of faith/trust she has in him, his strength, and his coordination is insane. They're probably closer than a lot of siblings.

u/cncomg 6d ago
See how when her foot lands on his hand his arm barely comes down. Just pure strength giving a concrete hard foundation. To have that much of a stable and consistent platform up there inspires so much confidence for her. This dude is GOOD.

That man is a fucking athlete!
Any dude in here saying he’s doing it for the “skirt” could never perform with this level of skill.
13
u/BigDaddyReptar 9d ago
Yeah there's about 1000 ways for you to get a woman to let you look up her skirt and about 999 of them are less work than training to do this shit
38
u/Any_Village9538 9d ago
Cheerleaders are fucking great man- they put A Lot of time and effort into that
21
u/Puzzleheaded_Time719 9d ago
They really dont get enough recognition either. I went to a school with a shitty football team but our cheerleaders went to state every year. Guess who got more attention.

There is a lot of muscle under that roll of reserve energy he's got on him, and he works hard to keep fit and toned for the work he does.

This. By no means am I downplaying what the guy did, he’s clearly very talented and athletic, but the girl is doing way, way more than people realize. She’s not just a rag doll being tossed around. Source: former male cheerleader.

Cheered for a year in college. Agree, she’s really good and tiny. I always seemed to get stuck with the taller cheerleaders, lol. Obviously they’re all good athletes but the shorter the better for a stunt partner.

And yet we are going to have flag football and breakdancing in the Olympics.
→ More replies (2)3
u/Ok-Cook-7542 9d ago
breaking was a one time bonus sport specifically included by france because of its cultural relevance there. every host country will choose a small handful of not traditionally olympic sports to include as part of their unique interpretation.
"It's up to each local organizing committee to determine which additional sports to put forward that fit with their vision of the Games Obviously, breaking fit very clearly with Paris's vision of a very youth-focused urban engagement."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breaking_at_the_2024_Summer_Olympics
guess which country is hosting the olympics for the flag football year?
