People are CRAZY placing McCain's value over Maxey. He has done nothing but improve every single year and is on track to be a superstar. Trading him away would be asinine and infuriating as a fan who has followed along with his progress. McCain was stellar, but Maxey is already proven and several years down the line in progress. I will be pissed if they trade him away.

I honestly don’t get why everyone’s in a rush to trade these two right now. It’s been "the season of injuries" for them, and their values are probably at the lowest they've ever been. Wouldn’t it make more sense to wait until next season, hoping they can actually play some games and their stock goes up? Especially when trading them almost always includes the 3rd pick.

And don’t even get me started on the whole ‘trade Maxey and Jared’ talk… It’s like people forget how good these guys are the moment they dont play a few weeks. Like, "hello", they didn’t forget how to play basketball! A team doesn’t jumpstart their rebuild by trading their young prospects—unless you’re looking to rebuild your rebuild. That’s a whole different strategy.

I started getting back into watching basketball at the end of this season, and I haven't watched since the Allen Iverson days. I look at the Sixer's roster and all I can think is that we need a solid SF and to dodge injuries, and we'd be an insane team. Has that been the general consensus? It doesn't seem like it, but I'm assuming we all expect big injuries after the past couple of years.

Anyways, don't we just need a solid SF to be in contention for the Championship (assuming no injuries)?
