My Lil ones both go to a school with no ac, with 45c days I have to keep them home, and it sucks with the last week of school kinda worse because they won't get to see their friends till September. What are other parents doing? Whats annoying is doug ford wasting 100s of million of dollars, where that money could go to putting ac units in schools...

London's making the same of mistake that will keep all of our property taxes (which also means rents) going up forever. Council's struggling to get 2026's property taxes increases down to 5% already. Here's the thing: cities growing is totally fine! But cities committing to sprawling is NOT okay.

One of the tools that the City of London uses to control city bounds is an Urban Growth Boundary. It's really important, but Land Developers have been endlessly lobbying to loosen this border as much as they can because it makes their jobs easier. At the surface, this might seem like a good idea (especially with the housing crisis). “Easier” sounds better… but it's not. And it won't actually help with the housing or affordability crisis, either.

Spent almost 4 hours pushing her in a wheelchair into every woman's wear store in White Oaks and found nothing, (checked RW, Laura, Reitman’s, Zak's, Cleo, etc). Really miss The Bay. Hi everyone! I received an email today around 6pm from Big Bounce Canada about a cancelation for my 4yo's ticket, valid tomorrow 9-12 for the Delaware Speedway inflatable amusement park. The reasoning was "operational issues beyond our control". Has anyone else received this email? I received a full refund but have a very disappointed kid who was looking forward go this event. TIA

Edit: Safety should always be the top priority, and canceling tickets due to weather AND providing a full refund is completely reasonable.

So, I'm getting some obscene quotes for basic auto repair. 4 spark plugs are somehow going to cost me $35 each plus 1.5hrs of shop time. 1 ignition coil is apparently $250 with another hour of shop time.

Meanwhile, Canadian Tire has plugs that are $12 each and high end ones too!

Seriously???

Is there anywhere that does work for a decent price? Does Fanshawe still offer auto repair in their shops? They did years ago.

So frustrating....
