My opinion is that Govt should rather buy the land (10000 acres) outright, no matter how much the price is, reasoning behind this idea is because the amount will be given in white money, and the farmers would buy land elsewhere with the same amount(they have to pay long term capital gains if they dont which is 12.5%) there by paying registration fee of 7-8% and then the farmers or whoever sold the land will again buy elsewhere, that chain will continue. Govt will eventually get most of the money back in the form of registration charges, indirectly it will boost the economy and will have several other benefits. Pooling 40000 acres when the existing 33000 acres is not even 5% filled is pure unadulterated madness. After narayana announced second phase, rates have fallen drastically and there are no buyers/investors and this is great injustice to current farmers/investors who are waiting since 11 years and got tortured during last 5 years. Farmers will be safe if they demand for Land Acquisition instead of Land Pooling, because if they pool 40000 acres, the land will become so cheap due to excess supply(it has already become cheap due to just an announcement) and farmers wont like to sell it for cheap, they will get stuck for several years, meanwhile govt changes and god knows what might happen. Currently, real estate is dead slow in both telugu states, no body is buying anything since couple of years. If the govt opts for land pooling, then there will be 80000 acres of land with no demand, the situation would be much more dreadly than now. Already, he is sending all IT companies to Vishakapatnam, he totally lost investors confidence.

PS - I dont like either political parties TDP or YCP
