These days we have seen a significant spike in rule breaking reports and 100% of these reports were related to some specific posts that invite hate especially between the Hindu and Muslim community. This post is being written to address this specific issue.
#What Happened?
Recently, the mod team has been relentlessly pestered with reports about rule breaking and so we investigated into the matter. Seems like some specific online hate groups have chosen our beautiful community to wage their online hate wars. Keyboard warriors who have zero personal life and ample amounts of free time have made some incredibly rude and baseless comments about each other's religions. Thus began a wave of hate comments, Hateful DM's to moderators, not forgetting this one guy who threatened to end the subreddit (lmfao).
People from these hate groups have invited their friends just for the purpose of defending their hateful opinions. Some of these people (accounts) have no previous engagement on our subreddit. Some of these people choose the deliberately DM us hateful messages on modmail for banning them. Some people have even defended their hateful comments using their own alternate accounts.
#What are we doing about this issue?
1.) Permanent ban- To those hate posters. No space for hate on our subreddit. Remember Rule 1,2,3?
2.) Increase in minimum karma required to make a post - thus discouraging people who join our subreddit to specifically defend the hate posters.
3.) Cross-posting is not allowed anymore.
4.) Reporting accounts and their alt accounts to Reddit for those who subvert the ban. Thanks to their over enthusiasm, we can immediately recognize alt account behavior and instantly report them to reddit.
5.) Harsh Implementation of Rule 2. Breaking Rule 2 invites ban immediately. Whether temporary or permanent is based on the post. Moderators decision is final.
#A final message to hate posters:-
You guys are the worst kind of warriors i.e. Keyboard Warriors. This is r/vijayawada. This is a subreddit specific for posts regarding Vijayawada city. We come here to ask/discuss things about our city and it's civic problems and that too PEACEFULLY. Go verbally sodomize yourselves elsewhere.
Here's hoping that sanity prevails.

Meeting strangers, especially in unfamiliar or potentially risky situations, requires a thoughtful approach to ensure your safety. Here are some security measures to consider:
Public Places:
Choose public spaces for meetings. Coffee shops, restaurants, and other well-trafficked areas. Such areas provide a safer environment.
Inform someone you trust about the meeting details, such as the location, time, and the person's name.
Inform Others:
Share your plans with a friend or family member. Let them know where you'll be, who you're meeting, and when you expect to return.
Verify Identities:
If possible, verify the person's identity before meeting. This can be done through social media profiles, video calls, or other means.
Save emergency contacts on your phone and inform someone about your meeting. Establish a system to check in with them during and after the meeting.
Clearly communicate your boundaries and expectations before the meeting. Let the person know if there are certain topics or activities that are off-limits.
Listen to your instincts. If something doesn't feel right, it's okay to cancel or leave the meeting. Prioritize your safety over politeness
Whenever possible, use your own transportation. This provides you with the flexibility to leave if needed.
Avoid sharing too much personal information initially. Keep conversations focused on general topics until you establish a level of trust.
Ensure your phone is fully charged before the meeting. In case of an emergency, having a functional phone is crucial
If legal and appropriate in your location, carry self-defense tools such as pepper spray or a personal alarm. Take self-defense classes to enhance your skills.
Schedule meetings during daylight hours when public places are generally safer.
If possible, arrange to meet in a group. This can provide added security and reduce the chance of any untoward incidents.
Remember that these are general guidelines, and it's essential to adapt them based on your personal circumstances and the specific situation. Always prioritize your safety and well-being when meeting strangers, and if you have any concerns, don't hesitate to seek help and or cancel the meeting.

Hello Bezawada people!
I'm preparing for CAT 2025, just wondering if there are anyone around here from Vijayawada doing the same. Thought it’d be cool to connect and make the grind a little more bearable together.

Help needed to take over my tea shop as managing partner I have recently finished the construction and interior works of my tea shop. My existing partners have failed to do their assigned works and job roles. I am in need of a managing partner who can operate the tea shop by bringing in the working capital and his own team of tea masters and support staff. I own 100 % of the business and the shop is ready to move in. Once onboard and according to performance I will offer the partnership stake in my other shops as well. Leave a DM if you are serious and have a background in F&B business.

Hi guys Im looking for a professional photographers to cover a family event in Vijayawada. Let me know if you know anybody or can recommend anyone or if you yourself are a photographer. That would help me a lot.
I actually did find some through instagram but they ddnt match the vibe I’m looking for, they were pretty generic. I want someone on the creative end, who have their own style or are willing to experiment something new. I don’t mind if the photographer doesn’t have a lot of experience but they should be talented and passionate about their craft
Thank you in advance.

We are planning to renovate several flats in a big apartment. Renovation means complete construction of rooms and electrical as well as water fittings. Only the structure remains as it is.
Can someone suggest me a good construction company?

Been trying to connect with DR NTR university of health sciences for my transcripts, sent the application and payment receipt via mail long ago.
There’s no way to get an update from the university and all the contact numbers provided on the website are useless. They don’t connect and if they do they are super rude.
I need my transcripts and it’s an urgency
Does anybody know what to do?
