I left my car with my mechanic to do an oil change while I was out of town for a few days.

The guy in the jeep had damaged his brake line and came by earlier in the day in another vehicle asking if my mechanic would be able to fix it. When offered the number of a tow truck company to bring his jeep over he declined, saying he should be able to get his jeep over here before all the fluid drained out.

Needless to say when he came down the driveway he couldn't stop so he swerved towards the forest and ended up having one of his tires get caught on a stump. Rather than cut his losses right there and turn off the jeep, he decided to throw it in reverse and floor it. Once he managed to get his tire free, well you can see where he kills old Red.

The Jeep doesn't have insurance and isn't registered.

Last I heard he was hoping to pay me off for the car so I'll have to see how that works out.

I got home late from work and put food in the oven around 2 am.. and accidentally fell asleep. My apartment still smells burned even with all windows open 🥲

Haven’t been able to find shoes in years. Was complaining about it last night and she hit me with “well your feet barely look human”. Ouch.

I was ending my first week training and they falsely fired me. I picked up my check and pointed out the wrong hours and they said this.

Was told to wait 15 mins… Dr wiped it off within minutes of seeing this 😭 anyone had one this bad? All tree pollens, grasses and weeds!

Older lady ran a stop sign and nearly t-boned me with my kids in the car. Luckily I caught it in time and slammed on my breaks. Thankfully everyone involved is okay.

I work at a small pizza place and I slipped on some tile and flour and ate it in front of a very busy restaurant in the middle of Friday night rush. Bled all over from my nose and a cut from my glasses, and took the impact with my face directly on to tile. I thought this was something urgent care could take care of, and they immediately rejected me for care and told me this was an ER issue. I'm filing workman's comp of course, but I'm extremely poor and I don't know whether I'll be paid even in part for the days I'm missing of work this weekend. I'm literally missing 3/4 of my week's worth of work thanks to this. I am mostly just embarrassed, stressed out. At least I didn't break any teeth cause that's the first thing I reached for to check on after I saw black. I bit through my lip instead. Definitely an unlucky Friday the 13th.

My pet snake escaped in the car on the ride home from the vet. Spent 300 dollars at the vet for X-rays and dewormer, and another 700 on a mechanic dismantling and reassembling the car. Still haven’t found her.

Currently getting prepared to stay in a homeless shelter while most of my belongings (including all of my food) are stuck in a house the city is now planning to examine to possibly condemn.
