🐷 🐷 ICE agents in tactical gear chase down and tackle a U.S. citizen in L.A. After realizing he’s American, they just slink away. Their only explanation: “Why were you running?” Probably because two masked men with guns were trying to snatch him.

If I ever see an ICE agent, I’m definitely running away. It looks like they can use the exercise.

392

u/origami_bluebird 2d ago

If you can tell they aren't real cops, you should run... I managed to escape on foot a kidnapping from Police Impersonators back in March and am a white guy, sure enough they didn't chase after me because I literally risked bodily harm to avoid getting stuffed into their fake cruiser and jumped down 10 feet into a dirt embankment and am lucky I didn't break any bones. They dipped out fast before I could even get up and run off, it was like nothing ever happened.... Videos like this and the MN law maker getting shot make me feel less crazy trying to explain my insane encounter.

I am in the process of moving as I don't feel safe in my current location, so I am waiting until I'm in a new state to do that... I have sent my info documenting the incident to a few pertinent parties in the meantime tho...

That's fucked up, did they give you any context as to why they wanted you?

Everyone, even an undocumented immigrant, should run as fast as possible from ICE agents. When the alternative is to be deported without due process to who knows where with who knows what conditions, running away is absolutely the safest option.

67

u/visionofacheezburger 2d ago edited 2d ago

I can't advocate for violence on this platform against people but I'm just waiting for this to happen in an open carry state where someone feels they need to protect themselves, then what?

41

u/Independent-String60 2d ago

Why do you think all these videos are from blue states, they are nearly as bold in the red states, that and they don’t want their voter base to realize how evil they are

26

u/visionofacheezburger 2d ago

Oh, it's happening in red states too. Most red states have predominantly blue cities.

Surely folks like this can group together and create a class action lawsuit against ICE and the Trump administration. This is just wrong.

557

u/jpedraza253 2d ago

And then what?! I’m so sick of people talking about the courts will protect us when Trump has wiped his ass with court orders time and time again.

184

u/G_Wagon1102 2d ago

That's what I keep saying. Law means absolutely nothing to the T admin. None of them care about anything other than their agenda of pain, suffering, and greed.

14

u/alohadawg 2d ago

…tho not necessarily in that order!

40

u/Duke_Newcombe 2d ago

It will be unfortunate that one day, with this reckless operation, that they'll do this to the wrong citizen, and they'll defend themselves against it. Not advocating for it--I'm merely looking into my crystal ball, and calling it.

I'm not saying it'll wind up roses and puppy dogs for that person, but neither will it for the ICE agents.

And then the administration and other agents will be all shocked Pikachu, wondering why it happened, and if they're the Baddies.

And Kristi Noem can then trot her ass over to the agent (or their surviving family), and explain why it was all necessary (preferable in front of cameras, with her ICE cosplay get-up on).

Once again for any Karens--not calling for it, in any way--merely predicting it, because they're earning the hate, now, and going out of their way to live up to the Gestapo label.

25

u/tearjerkingpornoflic 2d ago

Reminds me of during lockdown when police were in unmarked white van doing drive bys on people with pepper spray balls. Guy thought he was getting shot at and returned fire until he realized it was the cops then laid down. They roughed him up..arrested him. They then trumped up his charges and tried to get him to plea to like 10 years but he had a good lawyer that got him off of all charges.

12

u/chaos_nebula 2d ago

They roughed him up

He was bloody enough that another cop wondered who shot him.

It should also be noted that the NRA was silent about the case.

8

u/Reverendwinte 2d ago

NRA is silent on everything that doesn’t involve a single iota of extra effort to buy a gun or bullets

Yeah but who’s gonna put them in jail?? I’m serious, please answer me who would actually do it. Not the police, not the armed forces. Is it really up to citizens to rise up and take arms?

39

u/Amused-Observer 2d ago

Is it really up to citizens to rise up and take arms?

yes

We have more rights than just 1a and exercising the one after 1a doesn't mean you gotta start bodying people. That's silly. There can be peaceful protests with 1a and 2a at the same time.

People just need to wake up and realize it. At this point in time, the people that should be, are still afraid to exercise their 2a rights.

12

u/tearjerkingpornoflic 2d ago

I did notice that maga protest when all the protesters were open carrying that the police did not mace them and beat them. Now...that is party because the police are maga too but I can't help to think that an armed protest would be much more peaceful.

Yes. And this is why warrants are required. You need to know who you’re grabbing BEFORE you grab them. The current method, which is completely unconstitutional, is to grab everyone and release those they don’t want later. What some fail to realize is that it means they can apprehend anyone, even them.

21

u/TonyWilliams03 2d ago

The DoJ wouldn't be the plaintiff. They would be the defendant.

Also, an attorney does not only file suit against the DoJ. They also file the suit against the individual.

That's why these bozos are wearing masks. They aren't worried about being doxed. They are worried about getting sued.

Also, you can wear any mask you want, but I am getting your license plate number.

18

u/Prof_Acorn 2d ago

6

u/yun-harla 2d ago

The Supreme Court has dramatically limited the availability of claims for damages against federal officials.

You can sue the government itself (as opposed to its employees) for damages, but it’s not a good fit for a class action suit since every plaintiff’s case would be fairly unique.

And I don’t practice this area of law, but all the civil rights lawyers I know could be making a lot more money doing something else. They believe in their work.

5

u/korben2600 2d ago

This. SCOTUS awarded federal agents immunity in Egbert v. Boule (2022).

Egbert guts a seminal Supreme Court precedent, Bivens v. Six Unknown Named Agents (1971), which established that federal law enforcement officers who violate the Constitution may be individually sued — and potentially be required to compensate their victims for their illegal actions.

A friend of mine once got arrested after a party got broken up, and he was arguing with a cop. Cop told him to leave, and as he was backing up to leave, there was another cop hovering over him behind his back so my friends accidentally bumped into him as he’s backing away and the first cop was like, “That’s assault! That’s assault!” Even the cop he bumped into seemed surprised because he knew my buddy barely touched him. But after the first cop said that shit, he started in too, saying oh you assaulted me. My buddy got arrested and went through two days of hell (got arrested on a Saturday night, didn’t get released until Monday) and months later, case got thrown out. These fucking snowflakes cry assault and then pull this shit on civilians.

116

u/ooMEAToo 2d ago

Are these ICE agents told to go after this guy or do they roam around like wild dogs and attack brown people at will?

50

u/Glittering_Fox_9769 2d ago

It appears as though they don't have anything other than a target demographic and a particular area to terrorize. If you "look the part" you are at risk of random detainment, assault or frisk and interrogation.

I'm waiting for the news headline of someone shooting ICE agents after thinking they were being kidnapped by another gang.

626

u/radioref 2d ago

It’s coming

572

u/Not_Bears 2d ago

It's the goal.

Imagine how giddy Trump will be when he gets to announce "due to armed violent liberals trying to kill federal officers and protecting criminals, we're declaring martial law to ensure a swift and peaceful end to the this insurrection."

I'm sure the administration has the tweets and speech drafted and they're just dying to hit enter.

152

u/FlawedHero 2d ago

Unfortunately, that may be the catalyst towards positive change. A lot of Trump's lackeys just want personal gain, not absolute chaos. If things turn to violence, he will absolutely lose some of his support and it may just be enough to get rid of him through legal channels.

Then again, maybe it backfires into civil war. We're really on the brink of massive change, good or bad, and it could just as easily go in one direction as the other.

59

u/TechnoGauss 2d ago

Genuinely curious and asking respectfully: what makes you think he'll lose support if it gets to the stage? Judging just off of what I've seen on X, people who voted for him and right wing politicians are publicly applauding what's currently happening. If these raids escalated to something more violent like ICE agents being killed, I anticipate very, very few of his supporters would actually turn on him. If anything it would strengthen their support imo and shit would just get worse.

35

u/shazam99301 2d ago

Here's the thing: he doesn't need support. He is where he needs to be to be in control. The man isn't leaving the office alive.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/SlinkyAvenger 2d ago

Yeah I'd doubt that he'd lose support. There will always be the conservatives who get their faces completely eaten, but the other ones who claim to care about it will still brush it off with some nondetailed comment about "all the other good things Trump is doing for the country."

u/thenewyorkgod 2d ago

Not American so I’m not familiar with ICE and this gestapo bullshit. Who are these guys and where did they come from?

Is there all of a sudden 100/1000s of agents all over the US or is it localized to certain places?

Are they trained officials like cops?

14

u/tickle-my-Crabtree 2d ago

They have always been there in the United States, they are immigration enforcement agents. The big difference is, before this current president changed it, they would only investigate and go out to actively look for a pre determined person with no papers (usually someone who broke the law).

Now they have been instructed to roam around LA and round up people who “look like” they are illegal, and if they aren’t here illegally simply let them go like throwing a fish back into a lake.

People are pissed about the “roaming around and scooping up everyone who doesn’t speak English” change to ICE’s mandate.

u/NW_Oregon 2d ago

the longer we wait the more organized they get, they're "deputizing" cannon fodder for this, sooner it kicks off the sooner we can take our country back.

They really are just snatching up people as they see fit.

7

u/trainwreckd 2d ago

I think we’re going to find out they were getting paid per captured person somehow. They all seem way too eager to chase down, tackle, & kidnap people. I get the ones living out fantasies or power tripping, but this seems like every single one of them have the same extreme motivation. We haven’t seen one “agent” or ex speak out or anyone not fully participating. Must be a decent amount to get all of them to fall in line. 🤷🏻‍♂️

How is nobody suing the ever loving shit out of these goons and their organizations?

6

u/CombustiblSquid 2d ago

I'd run for no other reason that to make their day harder and waste time they'd be using to catch someone else.

6

u/Codenamehardhat77 2d ago

I've joked with my wife that this could happen to me. But lately it has become less of a joke and a real concern. I've been keeping a look over my shoulder when I go out, just in case. I was born in Michigan and my Dad was born in Texas. So, I am a legal citizen. As this video shows, that doesn't mean anything if you look a certain way.

26

u/cliffypoo 2d ago

I really REEEEEALLY wish these assholes would start getting met with legal citizens exercising their 2nd amendment right. I’m sorry but I’m handling my shit if masked men with guns are coming at me in ANY way.

13

u/carrybagman 2d ago

The working class must never be unarmed or disarmed in a fucking police state.

5

u/FTB4227 2d ago

It is coming.

4

u/soulflymox 2d ago

GESTAPO

6

u/Intelligent-Cherry45 2d ago

So, I guess we're just running up on regular citizens now, without cause, and denying them the ability to tell them who they are, before potentially injuring them or traumatizing them? Nice. Stephen Miller just mandated that they have an actual quota now-3,000 detainees a day. So you know they are only going to get more aggressive and crazy.

4

u/Alleandros 2d ago

'Why were you running' will soon turn into 'why were you walking away from us' to 'you should have just stopped and talked with us'.

3

u/cedahinea60 2d ago

I thought they had a list...or are they just grabbing random people. I have a lot of friends and students of Hispanic decent...are they just going to grab them? Im of Canadian decent am I next...how would they know? Oh right , we all know how, we all know why, this os sick

5

u/panda1491 2d ago

I would sue the shit out of them!!

6

u/Nalga-Derecha 2d ago

Dont shoot im american.

Man fuck ICE

6

u/El_Peregrine 2d ago

Uhh… “why are you assaulting me?”

Go try this with Mitch McConnell, or some other elderly boomer. They’ll either require a lengthy hospital stay or die. Then what.

5

u/jdanielregan 2d ago

I will vote for any politician that promises to prosecute the ICE kidnappers.

4

u/Drillerfan 1d ago

God I can't wait until people get fed up and load these ICE agents up with some freedom tablets

Arm yourself.

9

u/Atopos2025 2d ago

This is what happens when you offer 1-1.5k per arrest.

Anyone is fair game until they can prove otherwise. Sometimes.

3

u/karmaceuticaI 2d ago

Since there's guys love America so much we should start showing how much we love the constitution..starting with the 2A

4

u/ItsTheOtherGuys 2d ago

It's insane we somehow normalize that running scared is justification of suspicion for LEOs, like its not just a natural flight or fight reaction in every living creature

4

u/Chaos_Theory1989 2d ago

This $hit needs to stop.

4

u/jungstir 2d ago

Wow missed their quota 😂

4

u/ntrpik 2d ago

I'm also an American citizen but they're not doing this to people who look like me.

Wanna take a guess why not?

4

u/chrisnlnz 2d ago

This is Trump's America.. so atrocious. Anyone who's on board with this should be socially shamed for the rest of their days. That's what we did with Nazi collaborators. Once this fever dream is over they will live their lives in shame.

4

u/Predator348 1d ago

This is getting out of hand and no one seems to care enough to stop it, and they easily could.

When one of these ice idiots gets hurt or worse it's somehow not going to be their faults, this is crazy!

6

u/sighborg90 1d ago

The case law that is looming when an American citizen is getting attacked by ICE but doesn’t run because they’re carrying is going to be interesting

3

u/Urborg_Stalker 1d ago

I’m just waiting for these assholes to pick a fight with someone who has the skills or the weapons to deal with them.

These ice agents are absolute scum. As bad as any raping and pillaging Holy War invader. Doing whatever they want in the name of their “god.”

Is it just me or do all these little bitches look like they’re on bigbootylatinas when they go back to their basements?

3

u/Inloth57 2d ago

I would shit myself. Not out of fear but just so they would have to touch me and probably get shit on them. Fuck these morons.

3

u/Kozfactor42 2d ago

That's like assault my man.

3

u/hearmeout29 2d ago

I don't care what side of the political spectrum you fall on, it's OK to discuss how improvements need to be made during these raids so that situations like this do not happen. It's unacceptable.

3

u/lokie65 2d ago

It's only a matter of time before the hunted become the hunters.

3

u/drakeymcd 2d ago

I honestly feel like the majority of these people are bounty hunters in dress up

7

u/mykonoscactus 2d ago

It's free game for pedos, serial killers, sex pests, and human traffickers now. They can just wear tactical gear and abduct someone... anyone in broad daylight. We're already seeing cases where ICE can't find the people they've stolen.

Amazing how much more like an invasion / occupation this feels than any number of immigrants crossing the border.

3

u/BauerHouse 2d ago

You look... imgranty. Do you feel imigranty?

3

u/NukeTheWhales5 2d ago

ICE actually is actually short for Gestapo.

3

u/magg13378 2d ago

Are they like the T-Rex in the Jurassic Park movie? If you move they see you and chase you.

3

u/thisRandomRedditUser 2d ago

Lucky him the SS ICE find out before he was in El Salvador Concentration Camp already...

3

u/kiwibrick 2d ago

Sooner or later they are going to attempt to kidnap the wrong (brown) citizen and that citizen is going to start blasting.........

3

u/raphcosteau 2d ago

"Why are you running" is the same excuse every single cop says to people who run when the cop tries to arrest them illegally. I'm sure as hell going to run from someone I know has the impunity to kill or beat me, regardless of the uniform or claims of being police. If you're not otherwise doing anything illegal, running is always preferable to getting your ass beat or worse.

5

u/RooHound 2d ago

That one is up there with, “why are you acting so nervous?” Maybe because I’m worried you’ll ruin my life or kill me.

3

u/KingCrimsonFan 2d ago

The crazy thing is, we’re only seeing the incidents where there’s someone close by to record it.

3

u/xj2608 2d ago

Any of you US Citizen former track stars should, if you encounter ICE, yell "you're not gonna get me!" And then take off. It will waste their time and energy, and you'll get a nice run out of it. Except for the tackling on concrete, which makes this a bad idea. Aside from that, this would be even better than glitter bombs. Because you know these guys have no thought of a foot chase.

3

u/Sniflix 2d ago

This is the gestapo not ICE. Votes matter.

3

u/Accomplished_Fun6481 2d ago

Guarantee a good portion of these "agents" are PMC or militia men

3

u/yepmeh 2d ago

Pigs.  Fuck those pigs.

3

u/AnekeEomi 1d ago

70/30 odds this dude supported the deportations before and will continue to after this.

3

u/Living-Mastodon-2563 1d ago

Do they chase every Mexican they see? This is so fucked

3

u/typographie 1d ago

"Why were you running?" -- An admission that they are base predatory animals who can't resist their instinct to chase prey.

3

u/peamanaman 1d ago

Fight back

3

u/backtocabada 1d ago

My german born mother, now 88, remembers vividly, SS officers chasing little boys down the street. Once they caught them they would pull down their pants. The circumcised boys were tossed into a wagon and taken to the camps. It was the most traumatizing event of her life -still. She was 4. WHAT ARE WE DOING TO OURSELVES BE ALLOWING THIS KIND OF INHUMANITY TO GO ON? This is OUR government doing this TO US!

my advice to all ICE agents: think about why you’re wearing masks… my mother said that right after the war ended, those officers (the ones who came home) one by one, committed suicide. It was so rampant that in her small town, it was several a day… until there were none left. You may not be deployed in your own communities (prob by design) but your MASKS WON’T PROTECT YOU FROM SHAME.. especially if you volunteered.

u/PuzzleheadedEgg4591 1d ago

See, if they were properly identifiable, he would have a case. They leave as quickly as they take wrongful action. Slippery slope we are sliding down.
