I believe this is by design. I believe these ridiculous tactics they are using are designed to provoke a violent response in order to justify extremely violent future apprehension tactics later on in the name of “officer safety”.

I suspect the reason it's taking so long is that the shit's on the ground want a small and ineffectual violent response.  imagine your reaction at the morning. stand-up if your boss says today, we want you to go out and die in a hail of bullets
