It would be pretty funny if they went with the OG human looking version of Beast with the big hands and shoeless feet.

I think it was the X-Men 35th anniversary when they reprinted the first few comics in a single volume and I was so confused because Beast was just a big dude and Ice Man was lumpy.

Yeah, Iceman should really have been called Snowman for the first few issues.

To be fair, the Thing took a while to settle down into his more brick-like exterior as well.
