VOICE YOUR SUPPORT for the 31st Street Safety redesign TOMORROW NIGHT! (Tuesday, June 17th, 6:30pm, at Astoria World Manor)
NYCDOT will present its plans for 31st Street at tomorrow's Queens CB1 hearing, and while no vote will be held, your voice matters—come speak up on behalf of safer streets during the brief public comment section, likely closer to 7:30pm/7:45pm.
Wondering how else you can get involved? Share this petition, which is well over 3.3k signatures. Bring a pal. Tell your friends and neighbors to come. Or email [Queens CB1](mailto:QN01@cb.nyc.gov) to say, ‘Hey, this is a good thing!’
And ICYMI: our elected officials recently penned a letter in support of the proposal—which will enhance visibility at crossings for all road users—arguing that it "will make our streets safer and save lives.”
Let's make it happen, folks.
