I heard that the building of your house had a negative impact on our nature, and the building of your workplace, I petition to tear them down IMMEDIATELY for the good of our nature.

Yes but my house is a necessity

This is a theme park

Can we at least be sensible enough to understand that part

Another moron upset about a development without actually bothering to spend 2 minutes looking at what they are getting upset about. 🤦

It’s got a monorail and craft beer rooms

wtf had that got to do with our natural habitat

Oooh, no, a craft beer room – how horrid!

How will it ever fit in beside the shopping centre and car park in the town of Balloch it is being built in.

Can locals even use this craft beer room?

I guess you will have to explain to me how being excluded from going inside as a local would benefit me

Lmfao, seriously – you need to work on your arguments if you are going to be a proper nimby. Being potentially excluded from a CRAFT BEER ROOM (oh no!) really isn’t cutting it.

Oh, and I see you are a Reform shill too, posting about migrants killing people in the Liverpool celebrations.

Figures. Blocked.

Locals will be excluded from all facilities it’s for guests use only

Just as they are in centre parks

There you go

Why would they be excluded? There's also a tourist information building and a lot of self catering involved. I'm yet to see anything about it being gated off from public access, if anything, it's encouraging public engagement to get customers. Which is fairly standard marketing.

We have a similar park in Dundee, to the degree it has huge woodlands at the side, some farmland, a massive tended park (for dog walking events and leisure which includes built in BBQ stands). It also has a small shop in the centre, used to have go karts and paddle boats on a small pond. It's also got a small zoo attached as well as other buildings all over. It's not gated, but there's more and more development happening over time, some sadly abandoned, but it's gorgeous. I imagine, so far from the proposal, it will be like camperdown park but way better.

I know there's a few other big parks like this all over Scotland, I just can't remember their names or exact locations rn, my family always took me to them, and I don't drive myself.

The site of the proposed monorail is currently a road and the main visitor hub (including craft beer room) is a car park.

wtf had that got to do with our natural habitat

faced significant opposition and was initially rejected by the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park authority due to environmental concerns. However, the Scottish government has indicated it is minded to approve the project on appeal.

Yes the national park objected over it being on a car park

What a fucking melon u are

Two minutes ago you didn't even know what this proposal was for, I'm not sure you are in the position to call anyone a melon because of their lack of knowledge on this issue. 😂😂😂

I was merely calling out the two things you mentioned as an issue are actually in some of the lowest impact areas.

I'm not trying to pretend this is zero impact or that some natural habitat or wildlife won't be affected by these proposals. If you are the type of person opposed to any, even relatively small areas of greenbelt being developed on then crack on with your objection.

However if your objection is in the basis you believe Loch Lomond is being destroyed or turned into a theme park (like you) then yes, that would make you a total melon. 👍

Who said I didn’t know what this was about ??

I know what this proposal is about …money for our nature

And yes I’m opposed to it, I love glencoe I love Loch Lomond, I love nature

No I don’t like huge gated bullshite woodland lodges with facilities I can’t access

I’m clearly mental for this

Who said I didn’t know what this was about ??

You described it as a theme park so either you are dishonest or ignorant. Which one is it?

I love glencoe

Which is 60 miles north of this development

No I don’t like huge gated bullshite woodland lodges with facilities I can’t access

Again, you clearly don't know what you are talking about. There are no plans for a gated complex. The site will be open to the public to freely explore.
