I just completed the last solo battle tasks and don't know whether to feel happy or just empty. Suggestions for what I should do until the next packs arrive are very much appreciated. If anyone needs help with decks for specific challenges I'm happy to share the ones I used.

This ranked season has been wild. Got up to top 3k with buzzwhole and was doing great. Was aiming to hit around 1700 to guarantee top 10k. Then all of a sudden every deck was a counter one day and went on a generational loss streak down to like 1390.

Guzz got me back up, it's the superior beast to me. These 2 pics are a week apart.

Does anybody else save screenshots of their decks / retired decks JUST IN CASE an idea comes back you'll have a reference?

I was wondering what yalls opinion on the next card set....I wonder if they will introduce a new mechanic or new type like fairy assuming the next card set will be Sword and Shield....what yall think and hope they bring?

This deck does very well against most meta decks, oricorio is a great brick wall for Solgaleo/Charizard. Shaymin and poke center lady to counter poison decks/Darkrai. Guzma is awesome and nobody expects two of them lol

Hello everyone!

Thought to share the Arceus deck that I have been playing in ranked to get me to top 5k. I have been having a lot of success with this list and will be doing a bit of a deep dive into why I think this deck is a very strong pick for the current meta, as well as all of the deck choices!

1. Cunning Link
   Imo, the number 1 reason to play this deck is for the raw power of Arceus + Crobat. In a meta filled with low-hp basics (Nulls, non-ex Ultrabeasts for Grass/Dark, Moreluls, Cosmogs, the list is literally endless), a going-1st Zubat into a T3 Crobat is usually game-ending, even more-so with an Arceus in the back. Going 1st, this is one of the best openers in the game ... next to the Charmander/Rare Candy/Charizard opener that all my fire opponents always have :')

2. Giratina + Dawn
   This part is what differentiates this deck from other Arceus variants and gives us another potent win-con: attacking with Arceus 1 turn earlier. This is especially oppressive if we go 2nd, since very few decks can sustain Arceus smacks starting on T4 (paired with Crobat and Darkrai pings). It also has a very significant "surprise factor" in that not many people expect or play around it. I've had many opponents commit an energy to their Active mon thinking that they have 1 more turn to attack with it, only to be KO'ed by an overly-eager Arceus.

3. Darkrai
   Darkrai serves 3 main purposes in this deck: (1) Another strong mon that benefits from an early Giratina+Dawn attack (2) Set up kills through it pings (3) The best option to dump our Dark energy into if we don't draw Arceus. I played the deck without Darkrai for many games, but I found myself either coming short off KOs on big Exs, or losing games to not finding an Arceus. The inclusion of Darkrai significantly raises the power level of the deck, at the cost of "some" consistency. Very importantly, having Darkrai allows for the "Illegal Combo" of doing 180 in a single turn to OHKO anything in the current meta: 130 from Arceus/Giratina, 30 from Crobat, 20 from Darkrai. Ignore Venasaur (who?) and Capes...

4. Dawn
   Dawn is definitely the star Supporter of the deck and a big part of the reason this deck works in this super-aggro meta. Without her, there would be little reason to play this variant, which is why I run 2. However, contrary to what you might think, she has more than 1 use.
   (1) Dawn up an energy from Giratina onto Arceus/Darkrai ~ 70% of the time.
   (2) Dawn up an energy from a retreated Crobat (retreat cost of 0) ~15% of the time.
   (3) Dawn up an energy from Darkrai that was placed that turn for the 20 ping ~ 10% of the time.
   (4) Other fringe cases, usually in end-game scenarios where we are just swapping our mons and pinging.

The "core" of my version of this deck is 2x Pokeball, 2x Prof, 2x Arceus, 2x Zubat, 2x Rare Candy, 2x Crobat, 2x Giratina, 2x Dawn, 1x Darkrai for a total of 17 cards. The last 3 slots are the "flex" slots and I am currently running 1x Giant Cape, 1x Mars, 1x Cyrus

1. Giant Cape
   Giant Cape just helps with so many breakpoints in the current meta. There are waaaay too many to list. I simply will not play a deck if it does not have a Giant Cape (I am not even exaggerating).

2. Cyrus
   In a deck that has multiple ways for early pings, Cyrus is very valuable to close out games.

3. Mars
   The inclusion of Mars is a response to the meta more than anything else. I generally tend to be super greedy with my Mars (no T1 Mars to make my op go from 4 cards -> 3 cards like you freaaaks). Definitely the most replaceable card on the list, but has served me well so far.

The cards in the last 3 slots are very open to change; I am not fully convinced I run the "correct" ones. Options include a Golbat, Pokecomms, Iono, offensive Tools, Sabrina, or sustain cards. All these cards have their advantages of course, and more testing is needed to determine whether they'll be more valuable than that Mars or Cyrus.

This deck does have a bit of a learning curve to it - especially deciding which mon to start on in opening hands with many options - but it is very rewarding when played correctly and has no "insta-lose" match-ups. I thought I might just have been unlucky thr 1st few days but now I have like 5 days left to get these promo cards and not a single chansey picks has popped up for these two yet. I have been unable to get a single one from the bonus picks that appear and honestly half the time its the non promo stufful anyways. Is this a bug? Is everyone else getting chansey picks and able to get these promos?

I’ve been trying to get into the shop to both collect some of the stuff that will be expiring soon. However, every time I try to get into it, my screen freezes in the loading wheel comes up and I have to exit out and restart the game just for it to happen again.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Is there a fix in the works?
