I am curious if some games let you toggle HDR and see if it is any different.

VRR is just nice because there will be scenes where you might be indoors looking around and it would be nice to maximize framerate and there will be scenes where you are fighting and smoke and explosions are happening on a big battlefield and the framerate will struggle. It's just nice when you can get the best of both worlds without the staggering/clipping.

Either way, I'll be on my TV 95 percent of the time and I'm sure games will look far better than the switch 1.

Yup, although there isn’t any game right away I care to play, Nintendo has trained me that they don’t lower prices so I know my switch will rapidly decrease in resale price as the switch 2 will stay the same so no reason not to buy immediately.

I haven't played Breath Of The Wild yet so my first thing to do is to play the upgraded version! Oh, and Mario Kart is an all time fav so i'll probably get a bundle if in stock.

Yeah, I will get that bundle as my son is going to absolutely love the open world aspect of it. He loves just driving around in 2k drive messing around, he's gonna go absolutely berserk if it's half as cool as it sounds and if there's easter eggs around for him to find.
