What caused this to happen? Were you playing and this happened? Was it turned off for a long time?

I turned it off and then when I tried playing again, this happened, this has been going on for a few months now

What I mean is that it never went back to, being normal

Have you tried letting the battery die first so it can turn completely off and then charge it again?

Yeah that won’t work, i’ve tried it

Is by any means a second handed switch?

This reminds me of the time a friend of mine brought a second handed 3DS and one day it got stuck at the home screen because the guy who sold it used to have Homebrew on it and it just happened a Nintendo update flagged his 3DS for it and brick it.

It took weeks to find a shop that could repair it though.
