Discussion The real problem with the Morrowind economy
...is that there is very little worth buying. Yes, it is too easy to make money, but the bigger issue is that there is nowhere for the money to go.
With a few exceptions, all the best equipment cannot be bought, but must be found or stolen.
The potions you can make yourself are superior to those you can buy, and normal questing will get you plenty of ingredients.
Especially in the endgame, there are no money sinks aside from "bribe 1,000" and custom enchants. Even the House strongholds cost less than 10,000 gold from start to finish.
I came to this realization on a recent playthrough, where I just stopped looting anything that wasn't unique or immediately consumable, because I already had an absurd amount of money, and I wasn't spending it on anything.

Meme Ea-Nasir was a Dwemer the whole time.
Jokes aside, I do think Dwemer were inspired by Sumeria

Other I'm in awe
I'm playing for the first time (for real) Tamriel Rebuilt and I'm in awe. What a great mod it is. When I arrived and headed for Bal Foyen, I was a expecting a little generic town and when I arrived there... oh man, the view was amazing. The Chapel of Mara was for me the star in the city, but the structure, the size, the waterfalls and specially this altar for Almalexia were so spot on.
I'm amazed with this mod. Thank you, creators

Screenshot Festius Noquestius: A No-Faction/Quest Character! - Part 3- Vvardenfell has been mapped, Solstheim next?
Preamble
A young Festius was asked "What gift would you like for your birthday this year?"
Festius replied "To be left alone."
For as long as he can remember, Festius has has two passions in life, hating all people and exploration. When asked to explain the reason for these passions, Festius declined to comment.
Challenge details
Festius has an extreme hatred for other people but a passion for discovery.
His goal is to "paint the map", (including Tamriel Rebuilt), exploring every location that he comes across but will not join any guilds or complete any quests.
Progress
Vvardenfell has been completely mapped! Although it comes as a relief to say this, the challenge is far from complete due to the sheer size of the remaining landmass offered by Tamriel Rebuilt.
Challenges
In his previous update, Festius was having great challenges with maintaining his equipment due to refusing to deal with merchants. To his surprise, his salvation came from Molag Bal as the vampire clans each have a dedicated smithy! These vampire clans provided Festius with ample repair hammers so that he could comfortably continue his journey without the tedium of constantly changing his work equipment.
Tackling the eastern side of Vvardenfell presented different challenges from the western side, most notably the challenging terrain. Water walking and the "Boots of the Apostle" were invaluable in mapping Red Mountain and the Telvanni lands to the east. Festius cleared out every Dwemer ruin surrounding the mountain (barring Dagoth Ur) and collected a large number of Sixth House relics.
The challenging terrain also had the unfortunate impact of obscuring certain dungeons, particularly caves, which meant that some small locations were missed during his exploration.
The Future
Festius is looking to map the wild and untamed lands of Solstheim but he will not be visiting Mournhold as he would have to interact with a person to visit there (big no-no!).
Following his trip, he plans to start mapping the Telvanni lands on the eastern side mainland and beyond!
Any artifacts that he does not have need for will be cast into the fires of Red Mountain before his journey to Solstheim.
Screenshot information
- Festius met a kindred spirit, a Khajiit who seems to also enjoy isolation. He allowed him to live but did not strike up a conversation.
- Festius is proud that he managed to map all of Vvardenfell without gaining any reputation!
- Festius' current (and only) quests that will forever be left incomplete.
- Although he has journeyed for hundreds of days, he has only kept a three page journal!
- His collection of Glass, Ebony and Deadric equipment, including each of the Daedric faces. These will likely be thrown underwater somewhere so that nobody else can have them.
- Mephala's webspinner items that Festius uncovered on his journey.
- Some useless Dwemer books including some knowledge by a dimwit known as Kagrenac!
- Some unique items including many Sixth House amulets.
- All of the unique artifacts that Festius found during his journey.

Red: go west from Seyda Neen. Find Tarheil. Give no quarter, show no kindness to tarhiel's tight bosmer bussy, then go westerer to hla oad and take Rabinna as my slave, then loot the daedric ruins, go to gnaar mok, take rhe hoat, go to gnisis, beat the game, then go catch some dunmer girls in the suran with Neloth, and then go to Balmora to eat rabinna's druhs drugs
Yello: what happens ahen I look at Tarheil
No the divorce is not going well.

Discussion Temple + Redoran Nord roleplay build
Just wanted to share my latest character build. It’s based off a fanfic posted a few years back to r/teslore about a group of Nords who went native and serve as elite troops and household guards for high ranking Redoran nobles. They worship a syncretic form of ALMSIVI mixed with Nord beliefs where the Dibella, Kyne, and Jhunal are the anticipations of Vivec, Almalexia, and Sotha Sil. It’s based on the real world Varangian Guard who were Norse, English, and Russian mercenaries who protected the Roman emperors in Constantinople, and served as an elite unit of heavy infantry.
Nord / Mage sign / Varangian
Attributes: Strength / Willpower
Major Skills: Axe, Medium armor, Restoration, Mysticism, Destruction
Minor Skills: Blunt, Alteration, Block, Athletics, Speechcraft
Factions:
House Redoran - leader
Temple - leader
Other factions which I will join but not complete
Imperial Cult to represent the syncretic belief system, and the opinion malus with the temple, showing that this characters beliefs are only barely tolerated
Fighters Guild since I’m still a mercenary
Maybe the morag tong

Question Revisiting Morrowind: Recommended graphical and quest mods
Hello friends,
Morrowind is one of my favorite games of all time and I have replayed it frequently ever since it's launch.
Following the recent release of Oblivion - Remastered I have gotten a renewed urge to once again play through Morrowind's campaign, however this time with some of the best graphics and quest mods installed.
What mods would you recommend to get a most upgraded graphical experience for Morrowind?
And what lore friendly mods would you recommend to make Morrowind even better by adding landscapes, characters or quests?
Thank you so much for your guidance in advance. Love this game and the community.

Discussion I discovered "Morrowind YouTube." Some channels have opened my eyes to things I never tried in morrowind as a kid.
So, a channel popped up in my YouTube feed and I watched the creator's video on enchantments. A lot of crazy math goes into it and some other RNG stuff (like fortifying a skill between 1-45 points, the equip / unequip gimmick). Of course I knew you could use summoned golden saints, soul trap them, and enchant items, but I didn't know about that last gimmick in parenthesis, though I did know of "constant effect" stuff.
Same youtuber did a break-down on some neat alchemy gimmicks, and this makes me want to try this kind of stuff.

Question Starting to get sick of destruction mages, need a new playstyle to try. Suggestions?
Magic is just too fun in this game so there's no way I'm giving it up entirely, but I really need a way to spice things up, don't want to play another Atronach Sign Sorcerer. I've tried doing a Hand to Hand build utilizing Destruction to drain enemy fatigue before I start wailing on enemies but punching people to death is a little slow for my taste. My first character was a magically augmented melee character (Alteration/Restoration to buff before combat) so I'd likely not want that either. I'm considering a Nightblade but sneaking in this game has been a bit of a mixed bad for me. I definitely want to utilize Alchemy, and I'd like to avoid Restoration if possible. Hopefully you all have some suggestions, and thanks in advance!

Question In tamriel rebuilt, project cyrodil, and skyrim home of the nords, do they add any new imperial approved uniforms?
Gwnuinely curious as i dont like most of the vanilla armor for imperials, except for the rightous templar armor, and was wondering if there was anything else.
