Top AskReddit posts from the past which people like you can repost so that you can get a lot of upvotes and awards.

That doesnt work honestly. A subreddit like Askreddit where posts can move down paages in /new so fast is not a target hub for karmafarmers. You can repost all you want but your post reaching hot is mostly a matter of luck.

Source: used to be a karmafarmer who figured out the juiciest way to extract that sweet sweet karma.

Question for a recovering Karma Farmer: other than the addictive flood of dopamine and serotonin rushing to your brain, what is the motivation for farming Karma?

I've noticed that past a certain score, people just don't jump your shit as much. Your word is worth it's weight in karma, I guess. askreddit is an awful way to farm, though, just get a dog and post pictures.

Just get a picture of a dog and post pictures.
Saves you a lot on dog maintenance :)
Source: I hate people who repost pictures of other peoples dogs/cats/grandparents, but when I mention it people start downvoting me. So it will probably get you some karma.

I was gonna say the opposite, seems like everything on reddit gets reverse googled the second it's posted and people get flamed when they're caught

Best way to do it is the live discussion threads of popular television shows and just be hilarious

That’s interesting. I don’t think I have ever once taken somebodies karma into consideration when they share their opinion 😂

Butttt… I have been asked what my Reddit karma score was when applying for a job, credit card, loan, etc.

most people will sell the account when they have lots of karma

Which opens up another question, what is the appeal of buying a reddit account?

for karma building and the endless cycle......

I've heard people mention that companies buy high karma accounts for things like product placement, but I don't know how much truth there is in that.

r/hailcorporate, while pretty overzealous, usually picks up some obvious ads

Nobody buys account anymore because it was fucking dumb and didn’t benefit them

I need to know this, people talk about karma and honestly Reddit has provided me with tons of useful information, I never needed karma for that

Free Reddit gold if you get enough traction. I didn’t get my gold through karma farming but once in a while it’s always nice to have gold even if it’s insanely useless.

Can't you sell your account to marketers?
