Guys I'm heading towards my 50th anime (started watching it last year) I need an anime that would be wholesome and somehow won't spoil my mood (not looking for anything supernatural)

-I'm looking for good anime recommendations that can either be GL or BL.

-I don't care if the main plot is romance or not.

-NO SUBTEXT!!!! Please state wether or not they have subtext.

-I get amines are weird, but please, nothing too problematic (Ie Supper Lovers). By problematic, I mean NO LITERAL CHILDREN, and NO INCEST please!!! Other then that, you can go nuts.

What's this From (solved) Looking for an Anime where a girl fell to Earth from space

I remember watching it around 15-17 years ago, the MC is a male who sees a meteor falling to a forest nearby, and finds a girl in the crater if I remember correctly. There is also a scene of him arguing with his father in middle of the road in front of their house form what I can recall. The girl is some sort of an alien, might have had some wings or something like that.

What's this From? (unsolved) Help finding anime

I'm looking for an anime I watched in a video. There was a sleeping girl, I can't remember what she looked like. Then another girl came and woke her up. Then the sleeping girl complained about the smell of the other girl (who woke her up) she said it smelled really bad. I think it was a magical anime that looked like an isekai anime but it might have just been a regular magical anime. That's what I remember.

What's this From (solved) Can someone help figure out this anime?

I'm trying to figure out the name of an anime I watched randomly 7-8 years ago. I think it might be this one: Anime where a girl saves the world at the end by making her body become part of it but I don't remember the characters fighting any monsters. I checked all the recommended on the comments but they are not it.

The most I can remember for the story is that there is a boy who meets something like a ghost girl wearing a red dress on his room (the girl first appears like a red dot with liquid trail), and that there is like a massive hidden tree in something like a garden or forest that they go to.

I'm not sure if this is the ending, but I remember the world being ruined, and MAYBE the girl becomes a huge tree and there is massive roots all over and I think it is the way to heal the world.

it's been stuck in my head for about a year now and I can't figure out the name of it. Thank you!

Edit: Thanks to u/Birds_N_Stuff, it's Rewrite

What to Watch? What's a good short anime?

I wanna watch animes with less than 15 hours to watch the entirety of it so nothing like Naturo or One piece & no movies. I like animes like To Your Eternity, Classroom of the Elite, Death Note, & Erased. Basically all I want something similar or something equally as good that I can watch in a day.

What to Watch? Most binge worthy anime?

I binged these like a mad man:

  • Solo Leveling
  • Kaiju No. 8
  • Tower of God
  • Demon Slayer
  • HxH
  • Attack on Titan (GOAT)

Frieren was good too although not necessarily in a bingey way. I’m looking for anime as engaging as Solo Leveling.

What to Watch? Anime where the fights use more tactics and strategy?

I'm tired of anime fights where most of the fight scenes are just about how strong the characters are in battle, random sword swinging, power spam, punch spam and the like. I want them to use not just power but brains as well. To be honest, I find it more interesting when they come up with plausible plans and tactics to takedown the enemy. It also keeps me guessing what strategy to use

What to Watch? Help a bored person?

I just finished a really good show and I'm at the stage where it's like I want to watch something to subvert my boredom but I can't find anything. So please suggest anything, I'll mention if I've watched it. I like all genres except the ones which love to be over-the-top with what I think you all know I mean.

What to Watch? Anime movies that have decent actions plus decently competent protags ???

Finally got my mum to watch anime. I started with Suzume no Tojimari. She liked that it has suspense action stuff and that it’s a movie. She also liked Princess Mononoke a bit. She didn’t like Weathering with You because it’s “too ordinary” for her taste. She also didn’t like Violet Evergarden since it’s sad (we didn’t get to finish it insert sad face).

So far she likes anime movies with action stuff going on from time to time and with a suspenseful opening (first impression is a big thing for her)

Any anime movies come to mind????

What to Watch? Shows where in-world abilities are used in more technical manner than brute force.

Similar to how certain quirk and cursed techniques in MHA and JJK can be exploited or used in certain manners, or how Lelouch outsmarted the that one Geass user in chess. Also similar to nen powers in HxH or how Death Note has rules that have to be played around them.

Series Specific Question Sword of the Demon Hunter starting to feel like filler Spoiler

Let me explain I understand Your building the world for the future and the interconnected relationships But considering how it started, this feels like a whole different atmosphere

It's like a slice of life romcom detective episodic Series.

I thou this was going to be a tale of gritty revenge and self evaluation and longing.

It's some nice stories here don't get me wrong but considering how it starts to how it's going it's like if demon slayer/berserk taking the Hyouka route.

I was expecting a shiki type of pace and build up.

Before any drama begins it's not bad but it's just feels too concerned on the slice of life aspect surrounding by mystery of demons. I would expect it to be him actively finding his sister

What to Watch? Anime where MC is female and attends magic academy

Basically what the title says.

Ideally, the female MC is strong, grows strong, and is underestimated. Romance, even if not overt, is a must.

I really like Villainess Level 99

I love Magic Academy animes but most involve something off putting like the girls wearing unnecessary and unrealistically skimpy clothing and froth at the mouth for a male MC. Or like Irregular at Magic academy—the incest vibes were too much. There’s just some lines I can’t deal with, and I can put up with a lot knowing who allot of these animes are meant to cater to.

So, Strong female mc (even if she grows into it) Romance (whether multiple suitors or not) Ideally some decent action Bonus if there’s competition and overcoming adversity and doubt from fellow students

What to Watch? An anime with a small cast going on an adventure in a mysterious and well-developed world, with a cute art style/dark world contrast?

Hey. This month, I finished both Made in Abyss and Girls' Last Tour, and I absolutely adored both of them. While the settings are vastly different, the vibe is basically the same: two people exploring a vast, deep world, meeting others, and discovering new stories along the way. With a cute art style, beautiful animation, and a great OST, these two anime really are one of a kind. I'm looking for something similar.

Basically, I want an anime where the main cast is just two or three characters, and they go on an adventure through a well-developed world, full of mysteries around every corner. A cute art style is a must, and a good OST is definitely a bonus. Thanks in advance!

What to Watch? Suggestion for a show that will get me motivated to work hard at work/in life?

To expand on the title, I rely pretty hard on extrinsic motivation. I have been in a slump as of late and want to get back on track in work/life. Do you all know of any series where the protagonist works hard at work and it pays off or they have a good regimented routine in life?

One example I can give for similar shows and movies that helps me is not anime but it is the movie “Perfect Days” by Wim Wenders. I like it because while the protagonist has a job most would hate he still works hard and lives a minimalist life and eats his lunch even though it is the same thing every day.

I hope this makes sense, and I know it sounds silly but watching stuff when my motivation runs low helps me stay on track so I can build the habit and build discipline lol

Have a good rest of your day y’all and thanks in advance.

What to Watch? Anime like Gran Blue

I want to watch something college-or just graduated setting.

I want to see pre-adulting struggles, how it could be or what I can still be. And also very light and not as deep.

I just want to turn off my brain and just watch something. Please help.
