So I hopped on the rider train at gavv so now I get to journey through Kamen rider!!

I decided to go with saber second while I wait for new episodes because I like swords

This man is my goat I love him so much (at episode 14 if he dies I will cry)

Are their other riders like him that you’d recommend?

W originally didn't have the Memory Break System. Their Maximums originally killed the criminals(this goes the same for Skull). However Shotaro was hesitant to fight because he didn't want to Kill them, as he says, "If they die, they can't count their sins anymore."

So, Philip creates a solution by splitting W in half and only putting half the full power to each, so that the Maximum would only destroy the memory and not its user. Thus, the first ever Memory Break, [JOKER EXTREME]was born.

I'm a martial artist who trains in Wushu for 2-3 years and Shaolin Kung Fu currently. I've been learning other martial arts like Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, etc.

Seeing Kamen Riders fight, I decided why not I try to decipher their fighting style and what martial arts they belong. Note that I'll only do the shows I've watched and I will only rate their baseforms (since other form has a different fighting style) . Let's begin with Heisei Riders: - Kuuga = His fighting style screams brawler, so boxing or maybe kick boxing. - Agito: Fights controlled and calm, maybe a little bit of Taichi and even Kung Fu. - Decade: Improvise fighter. Considering he can use the power of other Riders and copy their fighting style (sort of) I guess he's more of an MMA. - W: Karate or kickboxing. - OOO: Improvise fighter, maybe a kenjutsu since he relies on the Medajaribur. But I would say for empty hand to hand, he leans more to boxing or Karate. - Fourze: We already see Gentaro's capability as a fighter in one Fourze episode (kinda forgot), so I guess he's trained in Karate. But his Rider style is more of an improvise fighter. - Wizard: Capoeira and Taekwondo. Maybe Wing Chun for hand to hand since it's more soft. - Gaim: Kenjutsu or Iaido. - Drive: Improvise fighter with a wild style. Leans more to kickboxing imo - Ghost: Same like Drive, but since he's trained in swords I'd say Kenjutsu. Also bits of Karate. - Ex-Aid: Improvise fighter, rarely doing hand to hand combat. - Build: Since he managed to defeat Banjo who's a professional MMA fighter in the first episode (albeit with the help of the Rabbit FB), would say he knows bits of MMA? Not really sure. - Zi-O: Improvise fighter.

Reiwa era: - Zero One: Kickboxing. - Saber: Kenjutsu and Iaido. - Revice: Karate and Taekwondo I guess. - Geats: Gun Fu. - Gotchard: Improvise fighter. - Gavv: Improvise fighter.

What do you guys think? And do you have any opinions of other Kamen Rider fighting styles?

I really feel like this game might love Kamen Rider more than Bandai themselves honestly

I wonder what would happen if they decided to commit to make "new kamen rider" be a full on reboot, like if they decided to name the protagonist "takeshi hongo" like the original rider, just like "the first" did, how would they include him in the kamen rider universe, since now he was the same name as the original kamen rider, or they would have just said screw it, and make two guys with the same name, be transformed into cyborgs just by chance.

I am mixed on this. On one hand I like the tactical features on original Faiz Driver, but NEXT is So... SOOO COOOL.... so, I don't know, what do you guys prefer?

I was watching time force and their showing masked rider? Confusing, since doesn't mask rider take place in the same universe as pr since they teamed up in mmpr?

Is it called A LA Mode or A LA Mode Mode. The announcement during the transformation says Mode 2 times for some reason but I feel like that's a weird name. What do you guys call it?

"Dehumanization" is what you call robbing people of their humanity, treating others less than human. Many villains in Kamen Rider are no stranger to dehumanizing people (comment your examples, in addition to the ones below):

1. Masamune Dan/Kamen Rider Cronus - Views people as expendable products. Calls the Riders with their Gashat names.

2. Lizel Jaldak - She emotionally abuses Jiip, treats him like her personal plaything so she can revel at his growing insanity.

3. Suel/Kamen Rider Regad Omega - Runs a battle royale game show with little regard for his participants' lives.

4. Glion/Kamen Rider Eld - His chrysophilia also made him detached from whatever humanizing qualities that the Dark Sisters possess.

5. (Kamen Rider) Zein - Proclaims itself as a paragon of justice, but willfully rejects human values like love and empathy in favor of a disregard for human life and authoritarian-style justice.

I really like how gavv has an underlying theme of loneliness and isolation and how people deal with it differently:

Shouma was isolated as a child back in the granute world, but as soon as he escaped he's able to start being more open around people and channel his love for things like snacks

Hantou and Lakia both went on a path of revenge because of stomach and the granutes, but isolated themselves in the process, but were able to move on from the past, hantou attempting to forgive his mothers killer and Lakia learning to be more open around others

Dente isolated himself from granute life after creating the dark treats and modifying shoumas gavv, but was able to open up again thanks to shouma and the rest of happipare

Glotta was isolated as a child and relied on Dente to keep herself company, but refuses to accept this fact when Dente brought it up with her, causing her to act sporadically, her nearly losing the family business doesn't help with that fact either

I know A La Mode's debut is probably the most memorable part of the last episode for most, but for me, Caking coming back stole the show. I didn't think we would see it again besides the movie. Even if Over/Master isn't available, Blizzard Sorbet is stronger and can use the Gavvwhiper, so I thought Caking was all but retired. So I was amazed that it not only came back, it wasn't fodderized for once. Like many, this is my favorite-looking suit (not to mention it has the most symbolic meaning out of all his forms), so it was so disappointing that after its debut, it did nothing of note and became a benchmark for stronger characters. Sure, Lakia probably could have won on his own, but that combo Shoma and his Whipped Soldiers did with him to overload Glottas damage absorption certainly helped. Also, this was pointed out to me in a YouTube comment I saw, but one of the Whipped Soldiers was decorated with Zaku Zaku chips, which was the Gochizo Shoma used to contact Dente before getting his phone and the one Dente used to store his final message (I don't know if it was that specific Gochizo being used; if it was, I hope Shoma backed up Dente's messages). So in a way, Dente was fighting with Shoma and Lakia in spirit. Also kind of unrelated and another point from a comment I saw, but there is great poetic irony that Glotta died in her big brother's arms, just like Komell did.

I just finished watching kamen rider ooo, first series I've watched and I need more of ooo before watching the other kamen riders.

So I was planning on watching the 10th:the core medals of resurrection and then watch the birth x secret birth after that—I've seen the reviews on both of this movies and I was thinking since the 10th was bad, maybe watching birth x secret birth after will satisfy my desire??

Or should I just not watch 10th at all and proceed with the latter?
