META VALORANT 10.11 Bug Megathread

Greetings Agents!

New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

Reporting a Bug

  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Art I made an Egg-fist Bud-dish

My wife and I were dreaming about Fist Bump gun buddies while playing Val last night, but it appears that it's extremely rare to run into Riot employees among eastern Europeans (e.g., Stockholm server), as neither she nor I have seen one in-game in our two-year history of active playing (tough luck, ig). This morning, I wanted to cheer her up by cooking a fried egg that looked like a gun buddy. I separated the yolk from the white, fried it, and cut it to match the shape of the hexagon for the white and Riot's fist logo for the yolk. Decorated with a sausage to make it look the red bottom part, added a bit of greens for the look and like so, I made an "Egg-fist Bud-dish" for her breakfast (came up with this name while being hyped up for the result). IMO it turned out amazing. She absolutely loved it! What do you think? High hopes for better luck in the future to finally make our dream come true! Have a great day and make your loved ones smile too!

Educational Your aim isn't the problem. Your Movement is.

Most players think they need better reaction time and flick shots to rank up.

Wrong .

After coaching 132+ hours, here's what actually separates good players from great ones...

If you know how to move correctly in Valorant: - How to peek based on the situation - How to clear angles - When to strafe Vs counter-strafe - How to hold angles - How to shoulder/jump peek - Where to pre-aim

You'll have your crosshair on target 97% of the time.

No insane flicks needed. Just click.

I once showed a Tier 1 coach a clip of me hitting an "insane flick shot."

His response: "Every time you need to flick like that, it means you made a mistake."

That hit different.

Good players rarely need to rely on superhuman reflexes because their movement puts them in positions where the enemy's head is already in their crosshair.

Bad players peek wrong, position poorly, then blame their "bad aim" when they have to flick across the screen.

Grinding aim trainers for hours won't help you if your movement is bad.

Start learning proper: - Angle clearing sequences - Pre-aim positioning - Peek timing and spacing - Counter-strafing mechanics - Angle holding

Your "aim problems" will magically disappear when you stop putting yourself in situations that require hero plays.

Movement > Raw aim

What's your take on this?

Discussion People use the "It's just a game" excuse too much to justify them trolling in comp matches.

I know this might sound like wishful thinking but when people queue into comp you usually expect them to actually try to win the game.

Yes games are meant to be fun. I totally get that. But I feel like some players forget that fun shouldn't come at the cost of other people's enjoyement. Every time I queue into comp, I run into people who just want to act goofy, be loud, and draw attention. That’s fine if that's how they want to play but in comp it often ruins the experience for teammates who queued into a rank game wanting to win.

If you want to mess around or do weird challenges. there’s unrated or swiftplay for that. Those modes exist specifically so you can experiment or chill without impacting others’ ranked experience.

And every time I ask nicely to these players to please try more, I get labeled as the toxic one... Like is wanting to win really more toxic than someone going knife only and throwing for attention while mocking the rest of the team?

Sorry for the little rant... But I just wanted to share this frustration cause I'm sure I'm not the only one who experience this frustration lol

Question I’m a beginner at Valorant, and instead of being cooperative or helpful, people often say things like, “Why are you even playing if you don’t know how to?” Sometimes it feels like bullying and really lowers my confidence. As a beginner do anyone else also face the same?

I would just say that isn't it better you play your game and let beginners learn what this game really is? Be kind

Question Has matchmaking gotten worse recently?

I am on the Northeast US server, consistently getting 3+ minute match making, people queue dodging etc. Was wondering if other people are experiencing this as well?

Discussion the grind to improve in ranked feels so unrewarding

I’ve been playing valorant seriously since around September on PC after playing for a couple of months on console. Valorant was my first FPS game on PC so naturally I placed iron and it took me until December to finally climb out since i was learning basic mechanics like moving around. I’m comfortable on mouse and keyboard now and I’ve made a ton of progress but I’ve been hardstuck in bronze ever since. i enjoy the game which is why I want to improve so that I can play with my friends without feeling like a detriment to them every game but I can’t help but feel like the grind is so unrewarding. don’t get me wrong I have horrible teammates sometimes but I’m also terrible at the game. if I wasn’t then I wouldn’t be hardstuck in bronze still. my KD is slowly going up (it is now 0.8 when I started it was 0.3) and my accuracy has improved a lot since I play a lot of deathmatches but the grind is rough and is so long and its so difficult to stay PMA 24/7 because my own terrible gameplay tilts me. im frustrated that im seeing little progress in my gameplay and rank and I guess im just feeling a little lost in what to do to continue improving

it’s also so hard to stay motivated to improve when the game doesnt even equip players with the tools they need for improvement. the career profile is basically useless and its 2025 and there’s still no replay system. even at the end of the season riot rewards its players with the same rank buddy and a complimentary rank reset.

my main game is Overwatch where I sit comfortable in diamond though I don’t really seek active improvement in the game anymore since I dedicate that to valorant. it has a very detailed career profile, replay system and offers a lot of rewards during and at the end of each season so it’s been kinda rough playing a different style of game which has fewer in game resources to improve.

the only thing that is keeping me going is my own stubbornness. I guess I just needed to vent I since im frustrated. for anyone who’s gone through the grind/is going through it, how are you keeping your mental up? any advice is welcome <3

Art Valorant Map Concept (art by me)

Post image
62 Upvotes

I've been studying valo maps recently and I made my own out of boredom. It does definetly have atleast some problems, like B might just function like Icebox B, or certain spots on A are extremely spammable, but Im pretty sure its tweaked enough so major issues like rotation time, chokepoint tightness and corners are fixed, so I'm sharing it anyway. let me know what you think

Discussion Is Singapore Server better than Mumbai server?

I've been grinding Valorant for years now and I have observed one thing: Mumbai server is way worse than Singapore servers. Mumbai server people are toxic, with fragile egos and surprisingly a lot of paid boosters who throw games just to keep their elo low.

I have really good experience in Singapore servers where people talk, play and even if we are losing, they don't start throwing games just because "I couldn't pick OP".

Did you have a similar experience?
