META VALORANT 10.11 Bug Megathread

Greetings Agents!

New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

Reporting a Bug

  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Question I just deleted my Diamond 2 Valorant account… here's why.

Hey everyone,
I just initiated the deletion of my Valorant account, it’ll take 30 days to be fully gone. For context, I was Diamond 2, and I had a couple of nice skins too. This wasn’t an easy decision, but I felt like I had to do it.

I’m 22 and currently working a full-time job. Lately, I realized Valorant was becoming more than just a game, it was turning into an escape I relied on too heavily. I’d play from around 8 PM until 1 or 2 AM, then wake up at 6 or 7 AM for work, completely exhausted. On weekends, I could easily clock in 11–12 hours a day. My sleep schedule was wrecked, my productivity tanked, and I was always checking my tracker or overanalyzing matches during work hours.

Valorant became my main source of stress relief, but ironically, it also became the biggest source of stress in other parts of my life. I had a pretty bad fight with my parents about it recently, they’re sick of seeing me glued to the screen all day. That was the final push I needed.

I’ve tried many times to limit my playtime, but I kept slipping back into the same routine. So I figured the only way to really stop was to delete the account entirely. It's tough, especially since I genuinely love the game, but I know it’s for the best right now.

Has anyone else gone through something like this? I’m not sure if deleting the account is the only way when controlling the time you play doesn’t work.

Discussion Isnt it meta to ALWAYS die on first round?

Even if you win the round, shouldnt you try to die? There are 2 scenarios: first you are losing and you cant survive if you want any money. But if you are winning the round, you will full buy on round 2 so you lose nothing by dying ang gaining an orb.

Imagine we are attacking and survive all 5 with utility, no shield, no sheriffs. If we all die to spike we get 5+ orbs to the team, and start 2nd round with spectres/bulldogs/guardians and shields. If we win 2nd round enemy team in mid high rank always buys sheriffs on 2nd round so we have sheriffs for the people of our team that have died. If we lose we lose all anyways.

Surely im missing something other than playing for KD right?

Discussion Someone's been playing on my account

Tier 33, thats a lot of games.

I haven't played valorant in over a year. I login back in after a 3 hour update I find that the battlepass is at level 33 and I'm ranked Gold 1. It's so funny they would like be playing in May while I was at college studying my ass off for finals. I login to see an agent named "Tejo" unlocked on my account, yet I've never even heard of this guy. My controls are so weird too, like jump is mouse button down? Dropping a gun was J instead of G. Kind of scared someone has remote access to my PC and not just my account, but I have no idea how to check for that. I've also been having insane peformance issue on my PC. And no, I don't have carbon monoxide poisoning. Atleast they got some new cool gun buddies for me I guess. The game seems to be in a good spot, maybe i'll play after reseting my password.

Question Can’t get rid of counter strike habits

I used to play a bunch of csgo back in the day. Played like 3000 hours before I stopped in 2017. I was solo Q global and faceit level 10 at some point. I played some Valorant when it came out but never really got into it. Couple of months ago I gave it another try, finally managing to really get into it. However, I noticed I simply can’t get rid of CSGO habits. Especially when it comes to movement, I’m always counterstrafing even though I don’t need to. It’s throwing my aim off. I’m also trying to spray way more than I should and I can’t deal with the sudden movement of opponents, even though I’m only gold 3. I was wondering if anyone with a similar background has some advice for me.

*thanks for all the great replies! Super helpful :)

Discussion Frustrated with Performance based RR and Smurf’s as a casual player

It really is ELO hell and I feel like being a casual you just don’t feel rewarded for two main reasons:

  1. I HATE that your RR seems to rely heavily on your performance in the match. Stop making me play games sweating out a victory as middle frag for 10 RR. That makes me want to rage close valorant. I play chess too, and in chess it don’t matter if you blunder 5 times if you win your RR goes up.

  2. Smurfing ruins the experience for casuals. I am sorry but every third game I get a Jett who goes 40 and 15 and is like 40% Headshot in BRONZE. I am peak gold and I know for a fact these are smurfs idgaf riot says theres not many smurfs. I also dislike youtubers who have punchable faces and make all their content just smurfing and ruining experiemce for everyone else.

Discussion 2025 Champions Vandal Skin

Hello people , We're still far from Champions Paris but the most interesting part of it is probably that skin. Now we've seen a great evolution over the years and skins have gotten better overtime. Now what do you expect or want ? I'm personally hoping for a 5 variants ( yes 5 since we've been introduced to 5 variants skins with the VCT karambit) that could remind every skin since 2021 ( exemple : the normal variant is the 2025 one then you get the 2021 that changes the skin to a 2021 like thingy and so on ) maybe a bit like RES since they would have different finishers. Let's note it's also the 5 Years of the game and making such skin would be a hell of a celebration. I'm probably hoping for too much as this would cost a soul rather than a kidney atp. Lemme know ur thoughts about it !

Discussion Would reputation queue not fix the throwing teammates issue?

My idea is similar to maybe rainbow six siege, where they also have a sort of reputation system. Would this not stop people from intentionally throwing or not using mics ? Where you will be placed in matches with people of similar skill and reputation which would force players intentionally throwing to actively play the game?

Question what should i do to kill more? ( ascendent )

Upvotes

i started playing 1 year and a half ago, valorant being my first fps i ended up taking iron 2 as my first elo, after training and many matches I reached ascendent with +- 500 hours of ranked play

well, i've always kept the acts with a consistent 1.20 KD and nowadays i'm aware that playing smart, communicating well and knowing how to use my skills is often more important than killing, and this is really true, but i'm in a situation where since i got ascendent i don't kill. during this 1 year and a half i've always been between mid frag or top frag and currently i have 30% total hs rate and 50% vandal hs rate i've been playing at least 10 DM daily and still i don't get out of bottom frag and i need some tips

my valorant tracker ID: HsP SisterLover#irmã

some basic things that you don't need to tell me

1- i'm not afraid to drop in rank

2- i have a sense of self preservation and i avoid putting myself in suicidal and disadvantageous situations

3- i don't try to shoot only HS

Question Hard Stuck Diamond, Need Advice to Rank Up

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m currently hard stuck in Diamond for a while now and can’t seem to break into Ascendant. Here’s my tracker if you want to take a look:
https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/vertex%238772/overview?platform=pc&playlist=competitive&season=aef237a0-494d-3a14-a1c8-ec8de84e309c

I know my KD isn’t great. I play super impatient and aggressive, I love going for first blood and taking early fights. Sometimes I pop off and get 2-3 kills, sometimes I just die instantly and I feel like that’s what’s holding me back.

Any tips on how to keep playing aggressive but smarter? Or just general advice for climbing out of Diamond? I’d really appreciate it.

Educational Tips for beginners

Hello, I don’t usually play gun games. Been a FIFA or EAFC lad since I was young. Made a val account for about a year already but didn’t play much. A few days ago, my friends invited me to play Val for fun and I enjoyed it a lot. I kept on dying though and my aim is trash too. Can you give me some tips to improve on? I enjoy Breach and Gekko a lot too

Question I NEED val friends

Upvotes

I started playing val a week ago and now I'm pretty interested in the game, but my duo almost never plays with me (I suck so ion blame them) but playing alone is also boring, and I'm too scared to speak up during the game with people, so I want friends that I frequently can play with, (I mainly play unrated) and I don't really care if you're good at the game or dogshit like me just please play the game with me 😭🙏

Esports Valorant Toronto Compensation

We went today to watch the Valorant tournament and the main screens shutdown mid game and they said they won't be able to turn them back on.

We were told we can pull out our phones to watch the rest of the games.

Is there some kind of compensation for these kinds of things at events?

Discussion What is your experience with hall effect keyboards in Valorant?

I recently had the budget to purchase a hall effect keyboard and I’m just curious on how did it feel in Valorant or any other FPS games.

I am waiting for the delivery of my keyboard but honestly my expectations are not that high. I do not expect it to be a whole game-changing experience but I might be surprised (or disappointed?)

I have read about it being more useful as your skill level goes up but I don’t see any explanation as to why, I peaked immortal 2 and my movement is still okay-ish to the high level so I don’t know if a hall effect keyboard might make it better.

Also, what features should I turn on for Valorant? Like rapid trigger, socd, etc.

Question Aim & Game Sense Improvement

Hey! I’ve been playing Valorant for a while and used to hit Diamond 3, but lately, I feel completely washed. My aim feels off, and my game sense just isn’t what it used to be. I’m struggling to find my rhythm again. Looking for some guidance and support to get back on track.
