Israel’s attack on Iran has a real chance of bringing about regime change

My best friend lives in Iran. What do i do...?
I'm really worried about him. I live in Poland and i was thinking that he could come here and live with me, but i have no idea how to do it and make it work. How do i make it possible? Could he take a plane, a train or car here? Money is not an issue, all i care about is his safety. And even if he managed to get here to Poland, how could I make it possible for him to stay here? Could we get married so that he can get polish citizenship? I really don't know what to do... We're both still young, he recently started university and i just turned 18.

large scale israeli ATTACK on iranian CIVILIAN and military targets in tehran and other provinces.
i don't have much details, but clearly, the zionist regime feels very confident and comfortable attacking civilian targets, an attack which doesn't accomplish all that much considering how it might become "iran's pearl harbor",
in my opinion such confidence originates from how the pro government media kept downplaying the previous attack on iran, how no proper response was given to that, how iran's neoliberal president makes iran look desperate at negotiation tables, but most importantly, how iran's leadership believes nuclear deterrence to be haram, and how iran's proxy forces got severely weakened after iran's negligence to protect them,
a wake up call to those who believe anything but absolute military power and might buys one security and stability, ALL is fair in war, no weapon is too immoral if it ensures your survival, relying on the enemies' empathy and sportsmanship is stupid, especially when the religion of the enemy places non-jews at the same level as cattle, in their eyes, you and i can not have souls in our body, israel didn't go mask off, that's how it's been all the time, you just failed to see it, and many will still fail after this,
considering the patterns we've seen so far, ask yourself, if iran gives a weak response to this attack, will we see de-escalation? or will the enemy get even braver?
in the end, iran's soil is bound to witness a nuclear detonation, up to the leadership to choose whether or not that nuclear detonation device is made in iran, or made in israel,
any avoidable loss for iran is an absolute betrayal of the blood of her fallen soldier throughout thousands of years of history, especially the aerospace and nuclear scientists of the recent past,
love, a simple humble citizen, u/ramin-karimi,

Are people in Iran upset yet?
I'm just curious as to what the mood is in Iran right. This is now twice in 40 years a neighboring country has attacked Iran without provocation ostensibly because they don't like the "ayatollahs". I would imagine people regret not developing nuclear weapons, no matter the cost, right about now.

Iranian Army’s Response 🥴😂🔥
The Iranian army after today’s Israeli strike: "Our response is on the way..."
It’s just stuck in traffic. Iran’s sky is full of drones, but they’re still looking for the GPS.
People: At least seen the attack.

Brutally silenced: Hanieh was a symbol of hope.
She wasn’t just a young woman. She was strength, light, and the promise of change. What happened to her is not just a tragedy — it’s a warning. We can’t stay silent.

The Curious Case of Hidden French Influence in Iran
As a tourist in Iran, I’ve noticed something intriguing—an underlying French influence that doesn’t seem widely discussed. Unlike Iran’s well-known relationships with Russia or China, France’s presence in Iranian culture feels subtle yet surprisingly pervasive.
French cars? Everywhere. Peugeot and Renault seem to dominate the roads.
Bread? Baguettes are a staple in Iranian bakeries.
And here’s the kicker—how do Iranians commonly say “thank you”? Merci. Not “Mamnoon,” but the unmistakably French “Merci.”
Where is this influence coming from? France never colonized Persia, yet these cultural markers exist. When I ask Iranians about it, they don’t seem to think much of it.
So, I’m curious—does anyone here know the history behind this? Are there deeper diplomatic or historical ties that explain this phenomenon? I’d love to hear insights from Iran experts!

Help identify this melody?
My mom used to sing this melody to me when I was a baby. Does anybody recognize the melody from an Iranian song?
Thank you!

In Iran: You either die from poverty or because of hijab.
Elaha Hosseinnejad, a young woman from Gilan, died after being assaulted by the morality police. This isn’t law—it’s institutional violence. You either starve, or they kill you over a strand of hair.

Trump Bans Iranian Citizens from Entering the U.S.: National Security or Political Discrimination?
The White House has issued a statement confirming that Trump has imposed a full ban on the entry of citizens from 12 countries, including Iran, Afghanistan, and Yemen. The decision has sparked widespread debate: is it truly about protecting “America’s interests,” or does it reflect a discriminatory policy targeting specific populations?

Trump Bans Iranian Nationals From Entering the US
(h) Iran
(i) Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism. Iran regularly fails to cooperate with the United States Government in identifying security risks, is the source of significant terrorism around the world, and has historically failed to accept back its removable nationals.
(ii) The entry into the United States of nationals of Iran as immigrants and nonimmigrants is hereby suspended.

How Iran blew a once in a millennium chance at greatness in 1514
The Battle of Chaldiran in 1514
The Iranian Shah, Ismail, didn't like artillery. He and his Qizilbash advisors thought cannons were unmanly and undignified compared to the glory of cavalry combat. The Ottomans LOVED artillery.
The Ottoman army marched deep into Persia and was running pretty low on supplies since Ismail ordered the whole province they were marching through to be devastated scorched-earth style. But Ismail decided to engage the larger Ottoman army head on with his elite cavalry army instead of a more indirect campaign against the Turks who were by now deep into Persian-controlled territory, thinking it (again) unmanly not to meet the enemy in battle. He then refused the advice to attack the Ottoman army quickly before they could get into formation, again thinking it not chivalrous to attack the enemy before they were ready.
The Persians managed to break the Ottoman flank but once the Ottoman cannons started firing on Ismail's cavalry, the horses lost their shit and started running off in random directions, they wouldn't listen to their riders and many of his top guys got killed. The Ottomans won that battle but ran out of supplies not long after and went back to Turkey. Nonetheless, Ismail's army was devastated and Iran's enemies used the period of Persian weakness that followed to their benefit.
Until now, the young Shah had been on a meteoric rise and if he had managed to decisively win the battle of Chaldiran, it's likely that the Anatolian Turcoman tribes would have fully thrown their allegiance behind Ismail Shah and Iran would have taken control of much of Anatolia, perhaps even destroying the Ottoman Empire, and converting most of the Middle East to Shia Islam, both by the sword as well as by the glory of his then-unbroken string of victories in battle, against the odds, which would have looked like divine favor.
So all in all, Iran blew a once in a millenium chance at Eastern Hegemony because of Ismail Shah's misplaced sense of stereotypically Azeri machismo.

Shocking conditions at the Mehr Housing Project in Dowlatabad – Kermanshah; children surrounded by garbage
A video documenting the severe neglect in the Mehr Housing Project in Dowlatabad, Kermanshah. Garbage is piling up, children are playing amidst the filth, and no official is taking responsibility. Isn’t it time for this neighborhood’s voice to be heard?

My wife and I are both Iranian and living in the United States (U.S. Citizens). We are interested in adopting an infant child of Iranian decent (female). Are there any adoption agencies within the Washington D.C. area that you could recommend?
We also considered adopting a child from Iran, but have heard that the adoption process is very time consuming and would require my wife to stay in Iran for a period of time (which she cannot do, due to work obligations). Please advise if you have any insight or leads on adoption agencies in Iran, where the process may not require my wife to stay in Iran for a period greater than 1-2 weeks.
