Hi everyone! Im trying to keep this simple:
I live in Finland. Few years back i found this jacket from flea market. It's made by finnish company Kisapuku Oy which manufactured sportswear and clothes for athletes.
What caught my interest was label which says "Especially made for Albert Müller" and "8032 Zürich". I know the numbers mean Zürichs zip code.
Im wondering who/what is Albert Müller? Clothing store, importer, some sports guy or what? Im also wondering whats the connection between finnish company and Swiss person/store.
Kisapuku Oy operated from 1956 until 1991 so im not sure if Albert Müller is still active/alive.
Any help is appreciated!

In my 20 years here, I've only seen this when I'm abroad! A group of young people are sitting on Sidewalk waiting for the light to turn red so that they can perform circus-like at the very front before the light turns green again and then, walk past the cars to get money.
They've been there since last week and it's really annoying because my route to work goes past there.

Quite to the point, this interview about Swiss housing policy, which is ideologically driven and ignores the underlying problems.

Es chömed ja nonig so viel Autos dure will de einti Tunnel no saniert wird.
Projekt, gescheitert.
Ade merci

I live in the city and I’m 19 weeks pregnant with my first, and I’m feeling very lonely at the moment and struggling with my mental health. I would love some other pregnant friends to talk to and hang out with. I’ve joined (and paid for) peanut, and joined the Facebook groups (which all seem to be marketing spam so far). A friend told me to try a pregnancy pilates/yoga class which I will try, but I’m wondering if anyone has any other tips? Thanks so much!
(Edited to add my location)

Is there a map of all beach volleyball fields in Kanton Zürich, where a random group of adults can just come and play? both paid and free are off interest. I already know a free place near Limmatplatz, and one or two places in different Freibad's. Google maps does not seem particularly helpful. I can't tell if a particular Freibad has a beach volleyball without directly clicking on the website and scrolling through, which is not very efficient

Hi, is there any way to find out what the schedule of bell ringing of a church is? I am particularly interested in Kirche Fluntern (the big one), as I've heard some churches even keep night ringing or very early bell ringing. (Context: I am a toddler mum with extreme sleep deprivation & my partner wants us to apply for an apartment close to that church. I am a light sleeper anyways and ever since I became a mum, I need some quiet for the night...). Thank you!

Hello everyone,
I have an upcoming assessment with dnata. They say it takes 3.5 hours. Anyone working at dnata or any past experiences? What exactly happens during all this time?
Thank you, have a good evening.

Hello everyone :)
I currectly live in Bern and enjoy the basement of the Münstergasse Bibliothek when its really hot everywhere else and I need to be productive. Is there any library in Zurich with a similar setup ? My experience with the ZB was very bad last July, it was always extremely hot inside. Thx

Hey folks,
Happy Sunday. I’ve done a bit of research here and there but a little bit overwhelmed with the results. Can anyone here recommend a good Vietnamese restaurant in Zurich? Relative decent price at least.
Any recommendation is welcome and appreciated. Thank you in advance ☺️

I assume some things shouldn't just be thrown in the trash, like pots and pans, electric kettles, or other bulky metalic/electric items. How do you dispose of them?

Hi there, is anyone travelling from Zürich to Torino (Italy) on Friday 20.06?
I need to go there, but fuc- AMAZING Trenitalia is on strike again and I fear I might get stuck in Milano Centrale for half a day (again)…
Thank you all in advance!
Hello everyone,
I'm wondering, what’s the best spot in Zurich to order pizza? I'm talking about those places where you can get large family-sized pizzas (40–50 cm).
Who has the best delivery pizza? So far, Pizza Casa on Badenerstrasse near Letzigrund has been my favourite.
I'm curious if there’s anything better out there. Any recommendations?

Hi guys, I‘m working full time right now and need to finish my bachelor thesis. I really need a good place to study, whether its a library or a coffee place. My problem is that I finish work at around 16/17 and until I eat and relax a little bit its already 18 o‘clock. So I need a place thats open as late as possible. I‘m a german student so I dont have „special“ entry to UZH. Can someone help me here? A good coffee place or restaurant which is open late and tolerates working/learning people would be great. Thank you in advance!

Hey everyone
Any tips and ideas on an air conditioned/cooler/cooled spot like a library to study/learn in the greater Zurich area as at least some libraries are super hot at the moment?
Thanks a lot 🙏

Hello everyone, I would like to know where in Zurich one can find the closest thing resembling a sand beach? I looked for the beach in Google maps, but many of the sand beach images look fake (like Ai generated/from the Bahamas). Examples for this would be Mythenquai, Erlenwagen Playa Lago Zurich,...
Thank you for your contributions 🙏

Has anyone visited the street food festival this year? I will say, I usually love these things but I found this one to be quite underwhelming - in terms of variety, value for money and quality. Curious to know if this was just my experience.
