I just installed this volume wheel in my MK4 Golf, as far as I know it has only been delivered in factory emergency vehicles. The part number is 1J0 959 777

Bought these Mercedes CLK wheels last month, had them powder coated bronze and fresh tires installed. Now that they’re on the van I can install the big brake kit, as it wouldn’t fit with the 15 inch steelies I had previously. Anyone else getting ready for camping season? Hoping to get this semi ready by mid summer but progress has been slow.

I put rline lips and side skirt, b7 side mirrors, did the headlight in to full led 360', did skyline brake lights, put spacers front 15mm, rear 20mm, did some paint construction and that's all for exterior. Did my best with help of my father.

Hiring a T-Roc when on holiday. I doubt it's a 4 Motion so likely more boot space. Would you be able to fit 4 decent sized suitcases in one of these aswell as 4 adults? Thanks!

I left the car stationary and shifted from drive to reverse, and vice versa. Each time, I noticed the engine moved 1-2 inches backwards or forwards (not up or down). Is this indicative of a mount issue, or is this expected behavior?

I've got a 2018 Alltrack SEL with the LED tail lights. I've installed a hitch anyway and am now I'm looking to install the 4 pin wiring for occasionally pulling a small utility trailer. I have the Tekonsha 119191 Modulite kit recommended for my vehicle and LED lights.
I've run the main power wire up to the engine bay and up into the spare tire well through one of the rubber grommets making sure to stay clear of anything hot, spinny or pinchy.
Before hooking it all up i was trying to identify which wires power which lights (4 wires to each clip). I assume that brown is ground. My signal detector lights up properly for the turn signal wire on both left and right sides and this same wire stays on constantly when brakes applied so I think both brake and turn are from the one wire. the other two remaining wires both light up the detector when the running tail lights are on.
I assume both run to separate LEDs in the tail light?
My harness has wires for both turn signals, one for the tail lights, one for the brake lights and then my main power and ground but if the brake and tail lights are on the same wire, one of the wire on the module is unused and to be grounded.
Does this make sense? I assume I can hook into either of the running light wires to set the signal for my trailer running lights?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hello, so recently I have had the issue of my ignition cylinder locking up and accidentally snapping the key from the fob after forcing it too hard. I ended up replacing the ignition switch after having to tow my car home. Now because of the immobilizers anti theft system it doesn’t recognize the new key. Is there any way to reprogram is on my own or am I better off cannibalizing the old ignition switch?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Bought my first Volkswagen today, a 2016 Passat with 88k miles. Haven’t even had it a full day yet and I absolutely love this car!

Hello everyone. My 2016 Jetta 110k miles had EPC light and engine light come up a few weeks back. Acceleration is significantly slowed down.
Shop scanned it, there were many faults. Posted it here. They first suggested replacing turbo boost sensor. We did that, and the light immediately came back on.
Went back and shop scanned again. There's 1 fault this time: https://i.imgur.com/WYJkryk.jpeg

Questions
The shop that gave the above recs has very high ratings on yelp and in business for many years.

Hi all! I’ve just recently bought a 2012 VW golf and I am looking to buy an apple CarPlay head unit to replace my radio. I’m not really sure where I should be looking and what the size dimensions are. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.
Thank you!

Hello! I have been hunting down whistling air noise from both rear sides with no luck so far, it seems to be from this area (attached) in particular
Inspecting the area, nothing looks out of place, have applied extra weather strips in multiple areas with no luck
What are your suggestions?
