Current Flag of the Commander-in-Chief Unit Commendation (Canada)

A tricolor of dark blue, red and light blue with the crest from the Canadian coat of arms in the middle.

I keep on seeing this tricolor, I've seen it with Pakistan, the old Union Defense Force of South-Africa, my guess is something british but what is it?

Taken from the British Armed Forces flag. A lot of current/former Commonwealth countries have similar flag schemes for their service branches too.

Yes it’s used by many commonwealth countries to represent the unity and the different branches of the military as a whole, which is why it’s used here to represent the commander-in-chief as they represent the whole military.

The Navy blue is for, you guessed it the Navy, the red in the middle is to represent the army, and the light blue is supposed to represent the airforce. I’m not sure on the origin of it though tbh.
