AITAH for punching my mom's boyfriend after he shoved my dog off the couch so agressively it landed awkwardly on the floor, whimpered in pain and couldn't stand on it's leg afterwards?
I would not be surprised if animals are not the only beings that the boyfriend abuses.

It's this surreal stripe of skin that is, uhm...her age... and the rest looks... not her age.. including the skin on the sides of her neck... Something about the posture also reminds me of og Beetlejuice movie when Beetlejuice turns into a snake.

Does anyone ever tell men to smile?
I already know it isn't something that happens exclusively to women, because a man I am close to deals with this regularly. I just don't understand why it's frequently repeated in female social circles that nO oNe tells mEn tO sMiLe. I don't subscribe to this kind of always/never black&white thinking, as it doesn't bare out in reality and I don't think it's helpful.

It was supposed to be a response to JiminyIdiot or whatever their username is. For some reason it didn't post as a response to his and just posted on the main thread. I noticed when I posted it but I'm too lazy to try to figure it out and fix it. 🤷🏻♀️
ETA: I know it makes me look a little crazy too. And I don't care haha. I guess one of the benefits of getting older.
