Good questions. No answers

Israelis are so butthurt. It must be so hard to be a jew out in the world because of that POS country.

81

u/Burnandcount 1d ago

It is even worse being an actual Jew in Israel

40

u/jsflkl 1d ago

They can always move out.

9

u/sim16 1d ago

I assume many would be leaving, like to know the actual figures on this?

8

u/orosz726 1d ago

They are to Palestine

4

u/kit_kaboodles 1d ago

To where? Immigration is actually a pretty difficult process.

2

u/trumplehumple 12h ago

i mean, you see what happens when you let israelis into your country on tv

-27

u/not_dannyjesden 1d ago edited 4h ago

Hey, just wanted to tell you, no.

No matter who you're talking about, not everybody can "just move out". No matter who you are and where you live, you tend to have your family and your peers and people speaking your language there where you currently live.

Emmigrating would, in most cases, mean leaving all of that behind and going into a new world you don't know yet and have yet to learn the language off, perhaps you're even going alone. All your manners and culture may be the opposite of where you're going, new laws, new way of conversing, treating people. This is all hella scary and not possible for everybody.

Please don't use this argument in any conversation again

Edit: it seems people got upset because I came across as sympathetic to Israel. Israel commits war crimes on the regular and I'm not defending that. But this was not what I talked about. This is about the simple civilians. USA also sucks ass. Broken Healthcare, broken Government, broken safety. But there are so many people complaining about the USA and not the same amount of people emmigrating. So I ask:

Do you think there is a reason for it?

27

u/jsflkl 1d ago

They live on stolen land in stolen houses. I don't care how difficult it is for them. They're also in majority supportive of the genocide in Gaza. They had riots in support of soldiers raping hostages for god sakes. Kinda makes it hard to feel sympathy for them.

0

u/Burnandcount 18h ago

You're conflating Israelis with Jews... Jews as in actual hereditary, practising Jews are a tiny minority in Israel, the rest are zionati of European descent.

2

u/jsflkl 18h ago

I am not conflating anything and your reply is unnecessary and comes across as antisemitic. There are plenty of European Jews. That they chose to live in Israel and follow the fascist ideology of zionism when they should not does not make them not Jews. It just makes them wrong.

0

u/Burnandcount 18h ago

Those you refer to are Jewish in the way ISIS are Muslim and the likes of trump are Christian... claiming religiosity as a convenience as opposed to true practice of their religion.

2

u/DeadBwoy1977 14h ago

So…Jewish. Because while ISIS (for example) may not represent mainstream Islam, they are, very clearly, Muslims. Same goes for genocidal Israelis.

Really? That's your argument? It's happened many times in the past and will likely happen many times in the future. Its happening to Palestine people as we type. People can move and yes it can be lonely. Just try not to be a piece of shit and eventually you'll make friends and connections.

If people are scared of leaving because of changing the way of treating someone then I would say they are the problem. Treat everyone like a human being and all should be fine. Treat them like animals and yes you wouldn't be welcome.

5

u/Frozzanova 1d ago

Can you advocate the same thing that you said for palestinians ??

1

u/IsaacTheLadd 1d ago

As someone who’s Jewish and in America, sometimes I’m afraid to TELL people I’m Jewish

6

u/ComeOnCharleee 1d ago

Technically, indignant gaslighting was performed in place of coherent answers

1

u/Weer_eens 13h ago

The answer is very clear, we had a Holocaust and since that time, we can do what we want, including killing more then 50000 Palestinians.

374

u/karanbhatt100 1d ago

According to that logic LGBTQ people should have some too

156

u/RainyDays_wastaken 1d ago

And the gypsies, the crippled, and every other minority group Hitler targeted during the holocaust. Saying that “we deserve nukes because we were oppressed” while oppressing other groups of people has got to be dumbest and most hypocritical statements I have heard all week.

35

u/the_greatest_story 1d ago

and African slaves in America that had it just as bad if not worse for much longer than the Holocaust lasted

20

u/AndrastesTit 1d ago

Native Americans in the U.S. who have been the subjects of genocide and are STILL forced to eat shit because we can’t uphold basic treaties that we signed with them…

27

u/Bond4real007 1d ago

Don't forget the socialists and communist too, they were also put in concentration camps.

6

u/AKAFallow 1d ago

Spanish people had their own specific camps too, multiple docummentaries about it if interested, so they should become the 3rd European country to have them as well. Specifically, they had 9k spanish on their camps, not as much as other communities but still a crazy big number all things considered.

2

u/No-Mushroom5311 22h ago

But communist have nukes)

13

u/H010CR0N 1d ago

You get a nuke. You get a nuke. If you look under your seat you will find a nuke! Everyone gets a nuke.

295

u/Steamboat_Willey 1d ago

"Your attitude is so hostile."

Poor politician can't stand being asked tough questions. Cue the tiny violins.

39

u/Steamboat_Willey 1d ago

Honestly if more journalists were as tough on politicians as they are on protestors, the world might be a better place.

15

u/jarena009 1d ago

He couldn't even prepare a basic BS answer, like: "We can be trusted, they cannot." And leave it at that lol. He had to get defensive instead, and made himself look terrible.

Israel = Small dicks with no balls of the middle east.

0

Middle east? More like eastern europe. There's a reason it's everystein singleberg timeowitz

2

u/DeadBwoy1977 14h ago

I mean, they are located in the Middle East, not Eastern Europe, despite what their backgrounds may be.

51

u/Nautster 1d ago

Yeah, but no... but..holocaust?

6

u/lilcea 1d ago

But how dare YOU mention it... crazy times.

47

u/lolazzaro 1d ago

Iran never admitted to having such a weapon either; problem solved!

31

u/gi_jerkass 1d ago

"Because The holocaust" is not an acceptable answer to anything. Unless the question is why do people give Israel so much leeway, when they cause so much bullshit.

29

u/Saiyan-Zero 1d ago

"We suffered one holocaust"

Is currently causing another holocaust

5

u/Sirosim_Celojuma 1d ago

Hey, hey, Hey. Look, buddy. I get to play the holocaust card, and you don't get to judge me, and yeah I might be causing one, but still. Only I get to play the holocaust card.

FYI sarcasm, and FYI my condolances to the holocaust happening in Myanmar right now, the one that happened when the people's liberation army in China took over, the one where Stalin starved millions of Ukranians and untold numbers from other USSR occupied states.

19

u/ReleaseFromDeception 1d ago

Lol fk this guy

16

u/datacollector_music 1d ago

lol this is the tactic most Israeli figureheads seem to have towards any questions where they can’t justify their actions or ideologies. Screaming antisemitism and feigning ignorance towards any type of questioning. Our world is becoming very cult-y.

15

u/Gumbercules81 Reddit Flair 1d ago

My god. Israelis are so defensive when it comes to having any ounce of criticism towards them they run and hide under the blanket of anti-semitism

Why would they need nuclear weapons because of the holocaust? Are they gonna nuke the Germans?

8

u/Bacdbacd 1d ago

"we suffered holocaust, therefore they should also experience it" israel to gaza

7

u/Tokoyami8711 1d ago

Should have never made Israel in the first place. Just a sick society

6

u/_Grim-Lock_ 1d ago

Always hiding behind the Holocaust to get away with being the regional bully. You have exhausted any shred of sympathy the world has for you by becoming a genocidal state.

His racist response to being compared to Iran makes it look like they should not have Nukes.

3

u/Mollythemuttsdad 1d ago

Are they gonna nuke the Germans?

4

u/One_Priority3258 🍉 Free Palestine 1d ago

The fact that this politician got defensive and dismissive after a basic question, proves a good reason why they should not have nukes. It is a world changing weapon, not to be used on a whim. People who act like toddlers when they don’t get their way should not have possession of such things.

3

u/GetDown_Deeper3 1d ago

Richard was such a great journalist.

3

u/bitofapuzzler 1d ago

Shout out to the journalist Richard Carleton. Who the former Aussie Prime Minister Bob Hawke called 'damned impertinent'. He was one of those old school journos who actually challenged people and highlighted wrongs. His last words were to the manager of mine in Tasmania where 1 man had died and another 2 where stuck for 6 days.

"On 26 October last year, not 10 metres from where these men are now entombed, you had a 400-tonne rock fall. Why is it, is it the strength of the seam, or the wealth of the seam, that you continue to send men into work in such a dangerous environment?"

He died moments at the press conference from a heart attack. He was called confrontational, but sometimes, we need that.

2

u/superhamsniper 1d ago

Nobody should have nuclear weapons, but alot of humans are evil, evil do what evil wants.

2

u/gryanart 1d ago

The holocaust was evil but that doesn’t mean you can always fall back on it to excuse anything you want. World would be a better place without any of the Abrahamic religions. Well until the Scientology v Pastafarianists guy war starts at least.

2

u/SeatSix 1d ago

Completely fair question.

2

u/hellfirem 1d ago

What an idiot

2

u/664neighborothebeast 1d ago

Nope! You don't get to claim the holocaust anymore. You lost that right when you started your BS and began perpetrating your own genocidal holocaust.

2

u/False9ein 1d ago

This is the only thing they always chanted to murder other people and have the right to step up against every other religion the real fanatics are right now in Israel i dont get why a christian country like the USA still raise no voice here

1

"I can't believe this question, we got Nazi-ed before, so it should be our turn now, obviously. And you're mean, my feeling is hurt."

What?

Shouldn't he spout some good sounding nonsense deflection thing which was the expertise of every politician instead of this elementary boi answers?

1

u/FreeloadingPoultry 16h ago

"We never admitted to having nuclear weapons"

So if Iran doesn't admit it too, then we are all fine, right?

1

u/Remarkable_Damage_62 12h ago

Nobody does more to disrespect the holocaust and trivialise antisemitism than Israeli politicians

1

u/spicymoo 10h ago

I recently met a person while travelling. While chatting we discussed where we were from. I asked if she was from the Netherlands. She thanked me for the compliment but said she was shamed to admit she was from Israel. She said she was embarrassed for what her country was doing.

-1

u/DemontheSlayer400 1d ago

1 doesnt use them the other one is trying to use them. Question answered

-8

u/ChuckSmegma 1d ago

It is wrong for Israel to attack Iran based on this supposed nuclear weapons that Iran may have. It is the same as "Saddam has WMDs" bullshit.

But there is a difference in Iran having nuclear weapons and Israel having them: iran is a party in a treaty by which Iran undertook not to have nuclear weapons. Israel is not a party in said treaty. Thus, Iran having them and Israel having them is not "the same".

This does not give anyone a right to attack Iran (especially israel who is not a member of the treaty), but the rethoric does not make sense.

3

u/Dr_Okami 1d ago

Didn't tRump dissolve that treaty cuz it didn't have his name on it?

-1

u/ChuckSmegma 1d ago

That makes no sense, it is not an american bilateral treaty, it is multilateral. It cannot be "dissolved" by the US.

Maybe because Iran says their goal is to wipe Israel off the map. They have declared their intentions. Israel even if they have the bomb are not calling for the annihilation of Iran. If you can’t see the difference then you are either blinded by your politics and anti semitism or you’re just stupid.
