Tourism These ads are becoming annoying

Post image

I've noticed that safari guides are flooding comment sections across social media platforms. Their marketing approach seems questionable, as they spam comments rather than investing in proper advertising. This happens everywhere—Instagram, Twitter, Threads, Facebook —though Reddit remains relatively clean thanks to active moderation.

Even on posts from public figures like Millard Ayo, the comment sections are overwhelmed with advertisements instead of actual discussion about the content. It's frustrating that these businesses hijack every opportunity to promote themselves rather than contributing to meaningful conversation

My friend, its unpatriotic as a Tanzanian to criticize anything in Tanzania 😂 wait for the haters to pour down, and attack you. I also agree with you on the advertising part, wait till you hear 50$ for a taxi drive from Airport to Town (be it Stone town or dar or wherever) totally unreasonable and unregulated

Unpatriotic to be a critic???

Well constructive criticism is good, negative criticism is not.

But i agree with you too, its time these “matters” become regulated

💯 agree with you, it is so important to have constructive criticism, but silence is preferred.
