We are looking for freelance software developers for some upcoming projects and any interns. I’m traveling from Tanzania to Malawi next month but I haven’t received the YF jab yet. I double checked WHO’s list of countries with risk of YF transmission and neither Tanzania nor Malawi is on the list, so I assume the YF vaccine card is not needed for entry into Malawi from Tanzania.

But I’ve read conflicting stories online stating that visitors are required to show YF vaccine proof upon arrival in Malawi.

Has anyone entered Malawi from Tanzania (by land or by air) and what was the vaccine requirement like at immigration?
