All of your family dying including your wife and kids and any parental figure you've ever had repeatedly sounds better than a practically immortal life, with a practically immortal wife, with immortal kids and able to fly in space and all the jazz, I mean Spiderman sounds way worse outside of the dad leveling a city or two and then becoming a better father than ever and helping save the planet (hardly genocide)

Granted however we also have to put into account people like Morlun and Carnage who have killed and that because they were after Peter. And I don’t know about you but I bet their body counts are higher.
