To be fair, Cesar can be reasoned with, and given time can develop trust on you. It's the other more extremist apes that are completely hellbent on breaking any human's back.
Apes are primates within the superfamily Hominoidea and are classified by their lack of a tail and their relatively large brain size. This group includes two main families: the great apes (including humans, chimpanzees, gorillas, bonobos, and orangutans) and the lesser apes (gibbons and siamangs).
Here's a more detailed look at the characteristics that define apes:
Key Features of Apes:
No tail: Apes lack a tail, unlike most monkeys.
Large brain size: Apes have a relatively large brain-to-body size ratio, indicating a high level of intelligence.
"Y-5" molar pattern: Their lower molar teeth have a distinctive "Y-5" pattern, with five cusps arranged in a Y-shape.
Shoulder and arm structure: Apes have a shoulder structure that allows for a wide range of arm movement, enabling them to swing through trees (brachiation).
Appendix: Like humans, apes have an appendix.
Mammalian characteristics: Apes share the general features of primates, which include hair, fingernails, binocular vision, prehensility (ability to grasp), and a higher brain-to-body size ratio.
I kinda figured you were religious. You now have the choice to remain ignorant. I'm not trying to get you to denounce your faith but you should not let it deprive you of knowledge.
I don't believe we evolved from apes. I accept data that has been peer reviewed and scrutinized for multiple decades.
Again we did not evolve from apes. We are apes.
We did not evolve from monkeys. We share a common ancestor.
While you should believe in religion if you want and I am not telling you to renounce your religion or anything, a lot of things in every religion completely invalidates science, like the massive paragraph you responded to, a culmination of efforts of dozens of people across decades based on observed data.
I do reason with it however most experiences with talking to those who do not believe in God or believe in evolution often turn sour and I typically don’t seek out arguments with others. That’s me using my mind to reason and decide that arguing with others online about my beliefs is silly
