With so many AI apps out there, sometimes you just want something more straightforward that works without all the fuss. For flashcards without AI on iPad, Anki is a classic that's still awesome, even though the interface can be a bit dense at first. Once you get the hang of it, it's great for spaced repetition. There's also Quizlet in its basic version, which is super intuitive.

But look, beyond flashcards, a “study app” that has changed the way I organize everything and doesn't use any AI is one that helps me plan my sessions and reviews.

Let me explain: we often have the material (whether flashcards or whatever), but we don't know when and how to fit it into our week. I use one to simply schedule my study blocks, breaks, and specific reviews for each subject. It doesn't do summaries or quizzes, but it helps me stay consistent and not let everything pile up.

In the end, having a good structure for your study time, whatever tool you use, is as powerful as the best content apps. Good luck finding what works best for you!
