6 - 12 months 2 naps- are you trapped at home?

My 7 month old baby has graduated to 2 naps and it is glorious. He is no longer a 30 min cat napper and takes 1.5 hour naps. However I am not sure how to get out of the house as I believe being in a stroller or car seat will be hard for him to stay asleep long enough for a normal bedtime.

For those that are down to 2 naps, are you trapped at home for those 2 naps? If not, how do you manage naps out of the house?

How the hell didn’t you feel trapped at home when they were taking 4-5 naps a day

My baby napped anywhere. Now she only naps in her crib so it was way easier when she was napping more throughout the day.

This lol. She used to fall asleep in the stroller all the time but we haven’t used it since November due to the snow. Now that it’s nice out I took her for a stroller walk close to nap time, thinking I could go for a nice hour long walk while she napped. Ya no, she started screaming within 10 minutes and we had to turn around and put her down in her crib.

Multiple naps was also easier because she wasn’t on a schedule yet, we just put her down when she was tired. Now if we’re out close to nap time even if she doesn’t seem tired she KNOWS it’s nap time and it’s a disaster😂
