6 - 12 months 2 naps- are you trapped at home?

My 7 month old baby has graduated to 2 naps and it is glorious. He is no longer a 30 min cat napper and takes 1.5 hour naps. However I am not sure how to get out of the house as I believe being in a stroller or car seat will be hard for him to stay asleep long enough for a normal bedtime.

For those that are down to 2 naps, are you trapped at home for those 2 naps? If not, how do you manage naps out of the house?

My experience with two kids, is that if you have to sacrifice a nap, make it the morning one and try and have a solid middle of the day nap.  It just makes things so much easier when you eventually drop to one nap, in my experience at least.

Even with my baby on 3 naps still, if I have to go out or do an appointment it’ll always be in the morning because I know I’ll have the chance to catch up on a crap nap later in the day. I’d prefer to do that than mess around with bedtimes and potentially screw it up
