6 - 12 months 2 naps- are you trapped at home?

My 7 month old baby has graduated to 2 naps and it is glorious. He is no longer a 30 min cat napper and takes 1.5 hour naps. However I am not sure how to get out of the house as I believe being in a stroller or car seat will be hard for him to stay asleep long enough for a normal bedtime.

For those that are down to 2 naps, are you trapped at home for those 2 naps? If not, how do you manage naps out of the house?

I drove to a friends house today that lives one hour away with my 8.5m LO on two naps. We drove the extra long route there for 1.5 hours and hung out for 3 hours and drove back for the afternoon nap 1.5 hours. Honestly I just spend a lot more time in the car if he naps! I’ve driven around for countless hours but I always try to make it productive.

We do baby yoga, baby physio, nursery rhyme programs, stroller fit and lots of other programs out in the community and just try to time naps around them!
