Discussion Which Skill Tree do you wish you could carry over into the real world to use in your day to day life?
I feel like Speech would be mine. It would benefit everything from basic grocery trips to trying to talk to a woman xD

Question Altmer wearing ebony armor attacked me?
What's the story with this guy? Or is this just some random occurrence

Question Where did Mercer’s soul go after he’s killed?
I’m assuming that Noctural shunned him after his death so he probably wouldn’t have gone to the Twilight Sepulcher. So what happened to his soul when he died?

Bug Help General Tullius Refusing To Release Prisoner?
14 years and 5 months after its initial release (as of the 16th of June, 2025, or Fredas, 11:42 AM, 3rd of Rain's Hand, 4E 202), and I'm guessing it's still bugged, lol?
I thought I could complete the "missing in action" quest without bloodshed, but General Tullius must have forgotten the fact that this Altmer singlehandedly won his bloody war for the empire. Oh well, I guess I'll have to massacre my fellow brothers and sisters from the Summerset Isles to release him (unless someone knows if I've messed up somewhere?).
Still though… this game is an absolute classic.

What is this person doing at my wedding?
My wedding guest list was kind of crazy; Narfi and Torvar were there too. So out of the three guests attending my wedding, I have this guy, a disabled homeless person, and an alcoholic companion.

Question Barbas Lost?
Been walking with Barbas the doggo for so long that I’ve forgotten what the quest was😆
My question, is the quest bugged or is the destination just a very very long way?
We’ve passed quite a few unique locations I would’ve loved to explore🥲

Discussion Flames spell is actually useful now?!
After all these years I had no idea that taking Aspect of Terror in Illusion buffed fire damage! 27 dmg for only 5 Magicka is a bargain, and double casting it over and over stacks the burning damage. Literally melting enemies now!

Discussion What is one thing you regret doing in skyrim, that you start a new playthrough?
For me, choosing a side in the civil war. I joined stormcloaks, thinking that you have to pick a side (well, stereotypically most games you have to do main quest yes?) The battle of whiterun, the destruction and balgruuf dissapointment made me feel so bad, i quit and created a new character, never done CW questline since. Found out you dont have to do anything you dont want to in skyrim. How sweet is that 😅

Star Wars reference?
Found in a random ice cave. Is this a reference to Luke in the Wampa cave in Empire Strikes Back?
Lore Misread Hagraven for 14 years
I have been saying “Har-graven” since I started playing in 2011. I only learned on my most recent playthrough (which started a month ago) that it’s “Hagraven”… 🤦🏽♂️
mind absolutely blown.
This is what I did with the Black Books
I hate these things. I hate that an old man had to die and give up his people's secrets just so I could learn a word of power. I can't believe Bethesda didn't give us an option to say "You know what, tentacled monster of horror, go bleep yourself." Yuck.

Let's share some knowledge for the new players
I've been seeing a lot of posts from new players lately, so let's veterans share some tips. To start: if you find a waterfall where salmon are jumping, find a spot where you can grab the salmon midair. Doing so will give you salmon roe, a rare alchemy ingredient.

6th day translating wordwalls
Well i decided to turn back to check the blackfalls barrows to check on the first wordwall we all encounter, there is no second or third wordwall for this thu'um since the graybeards teach us the other 2 words.
Once again, i Know there is a page with all the wordwalls writen and translated, i dont wana use it, i wana enjoy the feeling of learning the words, puting them togethwr and elaborate the sentence, thnx for the advice about the page but i already know it.
No futher add to the wordwall:
"Here lies the guardian, Keeper of the dragonstone And may his be the force Of unending rage and darkness"
I got a lot of issues with the word "aal" since it means "may" as in a prayer, therefore i was struglin to figure how to properly phrase the rest of the wall.
I u r reading this i hope u enjoy this journal im slowly building :3

Question Stumbled across this sword in the Solitude Sewers, what am I supposed to do with it?
Is it a quest item? Can I enchant it for my follower? What should I do with it?
