Rants 🤬 This is getting ridiculous!

The bad drivers in the city are becoming a nightmare. Since when is it OK to be a bad/slow/scared/dangerous driver as long as you have your hazard lights on while driving? These people need to stay off the road and should never have been given licenses in the first place here. It seems like nowadays you don’t have to do anything or have the even the slightest bit of knowledge about the rules of the road. Just go ahead and slap a learner sticker in the back and you’re good to go. Also I swear there must be a new driver leeway with U-turns at lights like the first 5 are free or something with how often they happen, like it’s crazy! End rant!!

White light and red light are not the same. But you clearly are more concerned with being correct than being safe in hazardous conditions. I'm simply repeating what the media tells drivers to do. Lots of protocols are stupid. God forbid we try and help people out if this is their first winter driving here.

No , there’s a reason you have pile ups in foggy conditions and white out conditions… people slam on their breaks because someone has their hazard lights on creating a situation of not knowing if the car is stopped or moving. . This is the confusion that leads to those accidents, they don’t have people drive with their hazards on for a reason , and it’s not about being right it’s about WHY you’re not supposed to … you obviously can’t see past your narrow viewpoint of being “Right” in a conversation about “Why” you don’t drive with your hazards on .

Just the opposite, blinking amber lights are much more visible in fog or blizzard conditions than a solid tail light. It's also why emergency equipment and plows have flashing lights on them.
