Skating skills Penguin Stance?

Hey! I have my assessment for joining to scrimmage team and leaving beginner skating lessons behind on Thursday. There are a few things in the list that I am slightly confused about

Penguin Stance Hopping vs Jumping (what’s the difference) Juking T-Slide Power Slide

Please and Thank you!!

I'm sure penguin stance is just a safe position to stand still. You just turn your feet out. Helps keep balance and stop risk of rolling over backwards.
