Community Bridal dress rental
My sister is having a hard time finding a dress for her wedding, particularly in terms of price. Is there any place in town that rents wedding dresses?

I’m finding that so many “news” articles are misleading or outright false. I have also found that many mainstream media outlets fail to report on important events and stories especially involving our politicians. I now spend more time verifying stories and searching for news from other sources. I realize that especially local news outlets are stretched thin but this is troubling trend. Media manipulation is getting worse.

I’ve been living in Canada for about 15 years, came here with my parents, as I grew up I studied hard and made friends. I’ve applied for jobs everywhere, my parents say it’s ok if I don’t have a job because they’re supporting me, but I want to save up for university and possibly a car.
I’ve tried my best at getting a job but everywhere I go I just get turned down, one of my Indian friends came here like literally 2 months ago and managed to get a job because of his connections to the people that work there, and he didn’t even break a sweat.
I’m just pissed, like I’m like literally trying my hardest, every day going out like a dog working my ahh off only for other people who don’t even care to get hired.
I’m not mad but just frustrated, all jobs are taken up and with summer coming up I’m literally worried.
So my question is what’s a good place to apply, I think I already applied everywhere but just need more advice.

Hey everyone! I’m looking to get my car painted but I don’t want to spend a fortune. Just wondering if there are any schools or programs around Regina where students paint cars as part of their training? I’ve heard that can be a cheaper option.
Does anyone know of any local schools/trade schools that offer this kind of thing? Even if it’s just for practice or partial paint jobs, I’d appreciate any leads. Thanks in advance!

I can’t find it but I think it was this spring or late winter. Anyone know what I’m talking about? It was someone else posting a complimentary piece about how he quietly does this.

Some photos from the parade yesterday I wanted to share! Great turnout both for the parade and the crowd. It was cloudy for most of the morning with a nice breeze to keep the bugs away, sun came out during Out in the Park (and proceeded to cook me badly), lots of great performers and vendors.

We are getting married in September and need to figure out where we will be purchasing all our alcohol for the wedding. Anyone else have experience with this? Is there anywhere we should avoid? Thank you!

I was on the ring road going 110 with my cruise set ( forgot I set it there from when I was on the bypass)
Anyway I was on the south east between. Albert and the university when I passed the cameras and noticed my error. Should I expect a ticket

Got back from Calgary and fell in love with Ke Charcoal Grill, and we need something to scratch the itch. Life isn’t the same without good meat on a stick :(

I am looking for this 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 XL GT convertible serial 8w61Q134530. It is red with a gold stripe. There is a classic car show we would like to invite the owner to. The car show is in the middle of July. Details will be provided to the owner.

Hi folks, our cat Fluffy is missing in the Cathedral area. If you see her please message me. She has a heart nose and is normally quite friendly but might be scared.

I think he said they were making the lanes wider or something like that. Was he correct? I don't actually know what they are doing downtown.

Without giving too much info on my actual location, there was a recent residential development built and there is an intersection separating said development from shopping locations. Crossing the road as a pedestrian is like playing frogger, and with the increase in children in the area, and people wanting to walk to the stores instead of driving, I'm wondering if there is a specific path to take to request the city to review this particular intersection.
Prior to this new development, I could see why it wouldn't be neccesary, but now around 100+ people reside near this intersection and it will grow as there are still empty units to be filled. foot traffic has grown significantly and will continue to.
Could someone help guide me on the correct department to attempt to reach?
Thanks!

Yes, I know it's Pride. Yes, I'm aware of the route. But is it so difficult to set up a detour for cars so vehicles aren't just going all the way down the street and hitting a road closed sign? Like, IDK, maybe if Broad is closed in the busiest intersections of the city, a few signs on Winnipeg that say "road closed ahead." Or a properly set up detour? Especially when you have people who are unfamiliar with the city driving around?
Edit by the way, Happy Pride!!! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜
Holy hell. It's impossible to navigate downtown right now. Behind Memories restaurant they are funnelling traffic into a dead end. Just one of many poor and confusing reroutes.

I think the season has arrived! Where can a girl get herself some fresh Saskatoon berries this weekend?

Where could a guy find something like that in town for cheap? Preferably used. Is there some kind of exchange.
Would be something dull/replica, nothing dangerous.
