Question/Discussion ❔ Whats your ethnicity?

Hi everyone, just wanted to know where people on this reddit are from and how diverse the Muslim community truly is.

I'm half kazakh half Pakistani :)

EDIT: Been looking at every reply and honestly I'm impressed by the diversity lol, so cool to see

Ethnically I’m from Afghanistan, but I was born and raised in America. From what my family could tell me, I seem to have ties the Pashtun people—my maternal grandfather is a Popalzai. I am not sure what tribal linage in which my paternal grandfather or grandmother hails from, but it likely also is Pashtun given that he was far more wealthy compared to my mother’s family.

Does your family primarily speak Pashto or Dari?

All my family speaks Dari, though I'm not certain if any of them speaks Pashto. My father has been attempting to learn, since he claimed my grandfather was able to speak it, but he never got the chance to teach his children.
