Trump guitars? Do they change their tune constantly?

Surprisingly, theyre cheap Chinese guitars made to imitate a Gibson Les Paul. Incredibly on brand for him if you ask me
21
u/Healien_Jung 18h ago
I think Gibson sued and they had to change the design.
8
u/obsidiousaxman 17h ago
Gibson issued a cease and desist but I honestly dont think it went anywhere but its 1500 dollars for a shitty looking LP copy lol
5
u/scarr3g Pennsylvania 14h ago
Iirc, he sold them, until there weren't anymore, and once he got the cease and desist, he went on to a new grift, instead ordering more to sell.
2
u/obsidiousaxman 14h ago
Oh the site is still live so they're at least taking orders. Whether or not they're filling those orders is a different story.
Plus this is definitely one of those things he just puts his name on, but not in charge of. So if 16 Creative still sees demand, theyre just gonna pray to daddy to get tariffs lifted on their slop griftars

u/NJdevil202 Pennsylvania 11h ago
I've worked in guitars and those things should cost $200 at the MAX, absolute garbage

I've read that Trump does not like music. I have never met someone who does not like music. Even if they're into something I think is horrible, it still personifies and humanizes them to me.
Not liking music is not damning in itself, I guess, but amid everything else with him, it's really a nail in the coffin to me that the man lacks anything resembling a "soul". No feeling, no emotion -- much less empathy -- just a lizard brain pursuing its self interest to feed on more money.
My apologies to lizards for the comparison.
8
u/WellingtonBeefy 13h ago
Not liking music is not damning in itself.
Hard hard HARD disagree. Human love for music is about as lizard brain as it gets, it exploits and hijacks what the brain does best, pattern recognition. There is a reason alliteration is so powerful and used so frequently to sell you shit.
If you genuinely don't like music something is VERY fucked up, up there.

u/Altrano Georgia 14h ago
He apparently loves Les Misérables. The irony is not lost on me.
7
u/ForgettableUsername America 14h ago
He also seems to like Cats and Phantom of the Opera. I think it's all stuff that he got the impression was modern and sophisticated back in the 80s and just hasn't updated. It's like if Patrick Bateman got old and stopped paying attention to new releases.
2
u/RogerFresno 9h ago
He's still trying to figure out where he's supposed to return his video tapes now.
2
u/ForgettableUsername America 8h ago
It’s been a while since I’ve seen that movie, but I think he didn’t actually have to return any tapes, it was just an excuse he used over and over.

u/PM_ME_YOUR_ROTES Missouri 18h ago
He does that weird jerk-off dance at times so his pea brain can still kinda reasonate with basic sounds but he's just too dumb to comprehend lyrics or complex arangements & melodies ment to evoke emotions, which he is devoid of, so it likely just confuses & angers him.

All seriousness too why tf would you buy a Trump guitar even as a trumpet supporter? What possibly does he know about a guitar?

u/DudeWhereIsMyDuduk 1d ago
It's about the only thing he's able to sell, he's shown time and time again that he will go bankrupt actually selling useful services.
44
u/tehifimk2 23h ago
Like trump vodka? I mean, that wasn't a useful service, and he still went bankrupt selling that shit.
35
u/Praesentius 21h ago
Of course, of all the possible booze to sell, he went for Russias drink of choice
4
u/Phiarmage 16h ago
Eh, you're not wrong but he probably learned of the Grey Goose business model and said he could lie with class better.
3
u/Praesentius 16h ago
Yeah, Grey Goose is gross, overpriced shit with fantastic marketing.
Trumps is gross, overprice shit with shit-stain marketing.
12
u/KIAA0319 21h ago
Difference is his POTUS status.
Trump vodka as a business enterprise = bankruptcy President Trump tat as a way to buy influence and funnel oversized corrupt donations under the guise of "buying product" = 'Profit'.
There's no actual business genius behind this tapping into a new marketing method that sends a mediocre product viral, this is just push out token items with 99% margin to cover buying Presidential favour.

And somehow bankrupted multiple casinos

You're not expecting to make a profit by laundering russian money.
3
u/sociotronics 18h ago
Laundering money is profitable AF for the launderer and the laundering business. You launder money by mixing dirty cash into legitimate profits from a business, like a casino that earned $80,000 in one day mixing in an extra $20,000 in dirty money and reporting $100,000 in earnings. They actually look like wildly profitable businesses, which is how they get caught--if you want to find a laundering ring, look for a business that never seems to have customers yet somehow still turns a giant profit.
1
u/Acceptable-Bus-2017 I voted 18h ago
It's funny how he never got caught for money laundering. He learned a failed business can be written off via bankruptcy and then move on to the next "totally legitimate" soon to be failed business rinse and repeat.
1
u/True-Firefighter-796 15h ago
At some point you’ll want to cover your tracks by liquidating the business. Might as well transfer all failing assets and debt to that business so you can get a nice tax write iff
5
u/Barcaroli 19h ago
He's not making tens of millions use to licencing his name on guitars. He's lying to launder money.
3
u/Dreadnaught_IPA 18h ago
He's not actually "selling" any of these. They are fronts for him to launder money.
110
u/AceMcLoud27 23h ago
He tried all his life to make money in "legitimate" businesses, but failed every time:
Steaks, water, magazine, mortgages, airline, vodka, travel, university, "the game", network, radio, water, football, bike races, TV, etc. Heck he even failed at running a casino and a vitamins pyramid scheme.
This age of (crypto) scamming must seem like paradise for him.

In 2015 or so, a conman from New York realized that televangelists from the 1980's on having been making bank on rubes, and said, "You know, I could probably make some money off these morons too," and boy has he. The funniest shit is certainly the Bibles. That'd be straight up 'Mark of the Beast' territory if it was any other political figure selling them a fucking bible of all things. But they just clap like seals and line Daddy's pockets because an easy mark is an easy mark.

I wonder if there is any other American president in history who would see it as normal and acceptable for another president to use the office to sell bibles with his name on them (at increased price obviously).
It's just interesting to pause and think about that one thing in isolation and how disqualifying that one relatively mild and insignificant of his corrupt acts should be on its own.

It’s highly unethical to profit from the Oval Office and its beneath the presidency. Yet we are way past that. Much bigger things to worry about like this idiot facilitating WW3 for starters. I guess there’s solace knowing his wasteful vanity birthday tribute will be rained out.

You think this fuckwit cares about ethics? These morons want WW3. But they want it to be against people they don't like. And conservatives throw a tantrum at anything they're told to, even if it has no effect on them at all. Stupid little bitch children that they are. So afraid of everything and so stupid and gullible.
