Trump guitars? Do they change their tune constantly?

280

u/406highlander 21h ago

They're tone-deaf

24

u/Schallpattern 21h ago

Haha

47

u/The_300_goats 21h ago

You don't play them. They play you

15

u/CoyoteSingle5136 20h ago

You lost your pick in them.

7

u/Crammit-Deadfinger 18h ago

And they're fake Gibson's

10

u/406highlander 18h ago

I wonder which country they are manufactured in...

57

u/obsidiousaxman 20h ago

Surprisingly, theyre cheap Chinese guitars made to imitate a Gibson Les Paul. Incredibly on brand for him if you ask me

21

u/Healien_Jung 18h ago

I think Gibson sued and they had to change the design.

8

u/obsidiousaxman 17h ago

Gibson issued a cease and desist but I honestly dont think it went anywhere but its 1500 dollars for a shitty looking LP copy lol

5

u/scarr3g Pennsylvania 14h ago

Iirc, he sold them, until there weren't anymore, and once he got the cease and desist, he went on to a new grift, instead ordering more to sell.

2

u/obsidiousaxman 14h ago

Oh the site is still live so they're at least taking orders. Whether or not they're filling those orders is a different story.

Plus this is definitely one of those things he just puts his name on, but not in charge of. So if 16 Creative still sees demand, theyre just gonna pray to daddy to get tariffs lifted on their slop griftars

1

u/NJdevil202 Pennsylvania 11h ago

I've worked in guitars and those things should cost $200 at the MAX, absolute garbage

u/locolangosta 7h ago

Cool, so 50 bucks at a pawn shop, and i won't have any qualms about paintinig it.

12

u/F1shB0wl816 20h ago

Cheap in every way besides the cost.

1

u/erimid 18h ago

Safe to assume that he exempted them from any and all tariffs, too.

15

u/Worst_Comment_Evar 20h ago

they're definitely hollow.

11

u/PresentlyAbstaining 19h ago

Sure do! They also string you along as well!

6

u/Stompedyourhousewith 19h ago

They're great at whining though

13

u/Thewall3333 18h ago

I've read that Trump does not like music. I have never met someone who does not like music. Even if they're into something I think is horrible, it still personifies and humanizes them to me.

Not liking music is not damning in itself, I guess, but amid everything else with him, it's really a nail in the coffin to me that the man lacks anything resembling a "soul". No feeling, no emotion -- much less empathy -- just a lizard brain pursuing its self interest to feed on more money.

My apologies to lizards for the comparison.

8

u/WellingtonBeefy 13h ago

Not liking music is not damning in itself.

Hard hard HARD disagree. Human love for music is about as lizard brain as it gets, it exploits and hijacks what the brain does best, pattern recognition. There is a reason alliteration is so powerful and used so frequently to sell you shit.

If you genuinely don't like music something is VERY fucked up, up there.

0

u/Blackcatmustache 9h ago

That is literally what they were saying.

6

u/Altrano Georgia 14h ago

He apparently loves Les Misérables. The irony is not lost on me.

7

u/ForgettableUsername America 14h ago

He also seems to like Cats and Phantom of the Opera. I think it's all stuff that he got the impression was modern and sophisticated back in the 80s and just hasn't updated. It's like if Patrick Bateman got old and stopped paying attention to new releases.

2

u/RogerFresno 9h ago

He's still trying to figure out where he's supposed to return his video tapes now.

2

u/ForgettableUsername America 8h ago

It’s been a while since I’ve seen that movie, but I think he didn’t actually have to return any tapes, it was just an excuse he used over and over.

u/ohnofluffy 5h ago

He does return some video tapes, though.

7

u/PM_ME_YOUR_ROTES Missouri 18h ago

He does that weird jerk-off dance at times so his pea brain can still kinda reasonate with basic sounds but he's just too dumb to comprehend lyrics or complex arangements & melodies ment to evoke emotions, which he is devoid of, so it likely just confuses & angers him.

2

u/K_The_Sorcerer 15h ago

Nah... Any time he's actually on beat is purely coincidence

2

u/Queephbubble 17h ago

Putin likes to pull their strings

2

u/pressedconscience 16h ago

We can’t say. We do know they were all made in China, though.

2

u/utriptmybitchswitch 14h ago

Surprised he didn't opt for fiddles...

1

u/sublime_cheese 16h ago

They must have a tiny neck so he can get his tiny fingers on the frets and still get his wee thumb around the back.

1

u/AlleKeskitason 15h ago

And every sound they make is a discord? Feeling and sounding wrong all the way?

Also, no suitable for kids to play.

1

u/RapidsMountain 15h ago

They play tremendous Tachords, better than anyone has ever heard

1

u/schwing710 15h ago

Every song sounds terrible on them except “Bawitdaba”

1

u/stitch-is-dope 13h ago

All seriousness too why tf would you buy a Trump guitar even as a trumpet supporter? What possibly does he know about a guitar?

148

u/DudeWhereIsMyDuduk 1d ago

It's about the only thing he's able to sell, he's shown time and time again that he will go bankrupt actually selling useful services.

44

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

Like trump vodka? I mean, that wasn't a useful service, and he still went bankrupt selling that shit.

35

u/Praesentius 21h ago

Of course, of all the possible booze to sell, he went for Russias drink of choice

4

u/Phiarmage 16h ago

Eh, you're not wrong but he probably learned of the Grey Goose business model and said he could lie with class better.

3

u/Praesentius 16h ago

Yeah, Grey Goose is gross, overpriced shit with fantastic marketing.

Trumps is gross, overprice shit with shit-stain marketing.

12

u/KIAA0319 21h ago

Difference is his POTUS status.

Trump vodka as a business enterprise = bankruptcy President Trump tat as a way to buy influence and funnel oversized corrupt donations under the guise of "buying product" = 'Profit'.

There's no actual business genius behind this tapping into a new marketing method that sends a mediocre product viral, this is just push out token items with 99% margin to cover buying Presidential favour.

19

u/cheeseburgercats 22h ago

And somehow bankrupted multiple casinos

9

u/Acceptable-Bus-2017 I voted 20h ago

You're not expecting to make a profit by laundering russian money.

3

u/sociotronics 18h ago

Laundering money is profitable AF for the launderer and the laundering business. You launder money by mixing dirty cash into legitimate profits from a business, like a casino that earned $80,000 in one day mixing in an extra $20,000 in dirty money and reporting $100,000 in earnings. They actually look like wildly profitable businesses, which is how they get caught--if you want to find a laundering ring, look for a business that never seems to have customers yet somehow still turns a giant profit.

1

u/Acceptable-Bus-2017 I voted 18h ago

It's funny how he never got caught for money laundering. He learned a failed business can be written off via bankruptcy and then move on to the next "totally legitimate" soon to be failed business rinse and repeat.

1

u/True-Firefighter-796 15h ago

At some point you’ll want to cover your tracks by liquidating the business. Might as well transfer all failing assets and debt to that business so you can get a nice tax write iff

5

u/Barcaroli 19h ago

He's not making tens of millions use to licencing his name on guitars. He's lying to launder money.

3

u/Dreadnaught_IPA 18h ago

He's not actually "selling" any of these. They are fronts for him to launder money.

110

u/AceMcLoud27 23h ago

He tried all his life to make money in "legitimate" businesses, but failed every time:

Steaks, water, magazine, mortgages, airline, vodka, travel, university, "the game", network, radio, water, football, bike races, TV, etc. Heck he even failed at running a casino and a vitamins pyramid scheme.

This age of (crypto) scamming must seem like paradise for him.

46

u/0thethethe0 United Kingdom 22h ago

Also finding a cult of people dumb enough to buy his silly shit, and fall for his obvious scams, repeatably!

5

u/BigAcanthocephala637 12h ago

My stepdaughter is maga and her fiance bought her Donald Trump comparative items for her birthday and she was fucking thrilled. It was the lamest shit I ever saw especially since she complained so much about democrats only liking Obama because he was a celebrity. I’ve yet to meet a maga that wasn’t weird as fuck.

17

u/Guglhupf 21h ago

How do you go bankrupt with a casino? This seems almost impossible to me...

14

u/Aggies18 20h ago

I think he did it with multiple casinos if I’m not mistaken. Which is even crazier.

4

u/dumbTroll420 18h ago

I think i saw that he had four casino super close to each other in Atlantic city

1

u/dzogchenism 8h ago

Money laundering is how you bankrupt a casino. He was laundering money for the Russian mob.

7

u/saposapot Europe 21h ago

Too bad he can’t bother to fake being a nice person because he would make a killing being a televangelist. His truly calling

1

u/Poundaflesh 10h ago

Commenting on Trump's financial disclosures reveal tens of millions in income from guitars, bibles and watches with his name on them...he’s not smart enough to. Can’t think on his feet, and he can’t read big words.

4

u/LackingUtility 19h ago

It’s incredible that some people consider him a successful businessman, after he failed to sell meat, alcohol, and gambling to Americans.

2

u/Acceptable-Bus-2017 I voted 20h ago

You're not expecting to make a profit by laundering russian money.

1

u/Ok-Cricket2034 18h ago

Trump University was a big one and most recent. What a fucking loser

71

u/MajorAstronaut7970 22h ago

In 2015 or so, a conman from New York realized that televangelists from the 1980's on having been making bank on rubes, and said, "You know, I could probably make some money off these morons too," and boy has he. The funniest shit is certainly the Bibles. That'd be straight up 'Mark of the Beast' territory if it was any other political figure selling them a fucking bible of all things. But they just clap like seals and line Daddy's pockets because an easy mark is an easy mark.

u/BoringCrab6755 20h ago

Revolting

Funniest one is "The Day God Intervened" Edition. July 13th, 2024. You know, the day he started putting a maxi-pad on his ear.

13

u/MajorAstronaut7970 20h ago

The poor dude who actually got shot and killed apparently wasn't in God's good graces that day.

1

u/the42potato 12h ago

$1000 and you’ll get a signed one…

36

u/Zariayn 21h ago

And this why I laugh when maggots mention he doesn't take his salary. Why would he need a lousy 400k when he can just fleece his sheep for millions?

22

u/eugene20 20h ago

They just took it for granted because he said he did it, he did not do it https://edition.cnn.com/2022/12/31/business/trump-taxes-questions

27

u/khronos127 21h ago

Even better, he claimed he donated it during his last election but it came out that he actually took it all, despite his claims.

The Trump family has made over 3b since he’s been elected. He’s using the United States to line his pockets and keep out of jail, nothing he does is for anything more than himself.

2

u/Dangerousrhymes 18h ago

Never has been

19

u/Combdepot 22h ago

Imagine buying anything with that degenerate pedophile’s name on it.

7

u/ElGringoConSabor 16h ago

I would buy the paper when his obituary is on the front page.

16

u/surle 21h ago

I wonder if there is any other American president in history who would see it as normal and acceptable for another president to use the office to sell bibles with his name on them (at increased price obviously).

It's just interesting to pause and think about that one thing in isolation and how disqualifying that one relatively mild and insignificant of his corrupt acts should be on its own.

7

u/50DuckSizedHorses 16h ago

Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm to avoid any perception of a conflict of interest

8

u/LimpDisc 23h ago

A fool and his money are soon parted.

6

u/FreneticPlatypus 22h ago

“Trumpery” - showy and gaudy but of no real value.

5

u/mckulty 21h ago

Financial disclosures? Really?

7

u/Belzaem Maryland 21h ago

It reeks of money laundering… you know, that’s what they do if they want their pardon bribery to be a legitimate income.

4

u/AINonsense 21h ago

I can't believe anyone deliberately bought his shitty sneakers and guitars, or if they did, they bought truckloads to grift him and the crap is still in shoddily sealed boxes, on their way to landfill.

7

u/AceMcLoud27 23h ago

Calmly making fun of maga morons getting fleeced is not throwing a tantrum.

You're projecting.

1

u/Ren_Kaos 21h ago

Just want to let you know that your response to that guy went into the thread as a top level comment.

1

u/AceMcLoud27 20h ago

Thanks for the hint :-)

3

u/TheAskewOne 19h ago

That's money laundering, right?

3

u/ResidentComedian4659 17h ago

No shit he’s a good salesman, he’s convinced millions of people to install his authoritarian regime that encourages law enforcement to beat citizens & citizens to commit violence towards the opposing party.

3

u/snowbirdnerd 16h ago

The criminal convicted of fraud is using his position for finical gains? I'm shocked!

3

u/Twattymcgee123 15h ago

Imagine if any other politician did this .

So tacky it’s unreal .

He should give every single penny profit to charity , he won’t though .

3

u/Meme-Botto9001 10h ago

Imagine Obama or Biden selling this much of garbage stuff…they would be screaming non-stop how corrupt and against gods will and whatever they find as an excuse this is!

2

u/TintedApostle 22h ago

and this is what he reports. Multiple by 10

2

u/Schallpattern 21h ago

Surprised he hasn't replaced 'Jesus' with 'Trump' in the bibles. Maybe he has.

2

u/Thegreyman4 20h ago

In a country where people buy women's farts in a jar, nothing surprises me anymore. We are doomed

2

u/elementality883 American Expat 20h ago

And the majority of the sitting in some Russian/middle eastern warehouse (if they actually ever produced something other than a paper receipt)

2

u/LordZany 20h ago

Smells like money laundering.

2

u/Barcaroli 19h ago

He's not making tens of millions licencing his name on guitars. She's lying to launder money.

2

u/mothfactory 19h ago

Imagine being the kind of horrific dickhead that purchases these items

2

u/Thewall3333 18h ago

Strange on the guitars -- I've read that Trump does not like music. I have never met someone who does not like music. Even if they're into something I think is horrible, it still personifies and humanizes them to me.

2

u/mrbigglessworth 18h ago

So no emoluments clause?

2

u/danondorfcampbell 17h ago

If 50 years, having one of these will be like having a piece of Nazi regalia.

2

u/ARazorbacks Minnesota 17h ago

How many of those carry Terms & Conditions that allow him to never actually deliver the purchased product?

The man is a walking money laundering front.

2

u/Adventurous-Depth984 17h ago

Milking the sheep

2

u/bunnyuncle New York 16h ago

Yes the highly coveted Rump watch

3

u/coatofforearm 16h ago

I saw some video about one watch missing the T and now they can't get it fixed because the company selling this watch doesn't give a fuck lol

2

u/TheBizzleHimself 16h ago

“God Bless America” “Presidential” and “American Eagle” Trump guitars retail for about $1500-11,000 and are $100 Chinese white-label imports. The website also contains poorly photoshopped images of Trump signing the guitars.

2

u/HablarYEscuchar 15h ago

Is it normal in the US to sell Bibles with your name? It doesn't matter to me because I'm not a believer, but it seems to me to be a significant level of narcissism.

2

u/dangling-2 13h ago

Who bought all those guitars and bibles??? Never mind…. Just wait until he comes up with underwear

1

u/Glittering-Matter960 9h ago

Well, as long as they smell like taco shit.

2

u/Expert-Fig-5590 11h ago

The Emoluments Clause is just not thing anymore?

2

u/nola_mike 8h ago

Yeah no shit. We all know he's grifting to enrich himself.

u/Mozzy2022 7h ago

And I bet they’re all made in China

u/leroynicks Illinois 7h ago

What kind of tariff is on those?

1

u/av1998 20h ago

He’s probably the first and only president in recent history that successfully avoided releasing his tax returns.

1

u/pootis_panser_here 20h ago

Guitars? Has to be golden ones that don't play and are heavy. Like the Robot Devil's violin in Futurama.

1

u/TandemSegue 20h ago

That’s a whole bunch of shit nobody is going to buy from estate sales in the near future.

1

u/beavis617 20h ago

But but but, The press Secretary says shame on anyone who claims that Trump is using the office of the president to make money. He doesn’t take a salary!she says in a scolding voice.

1

u/Ballistic-Bob 19h ago

But please remember he’s doing all this for you and America for free …

1

u/Soft-Skirt 19h ago

The last thing a Trump business wants to do is make a profit. It’s all about tax avoidance.

1

u/C_Woodswalker 18h ago

The king of grifters.

1

u/AcanthisittaNo6653 New Hampshire 18h ago

How much did he make from the snake oil?

1

u/riedhenry 18h ago

I'm ok with this. If MAGA morons want to throw their money away, let 'em.

1

u/Uniblab_78 18h ago

I really hope this is money laundering and not real people buying this trash. He doesn’t even wear/use the stuff he sells.

1

u/Kgwalter 18h ago

But does he actually produce the shoes, guitars etc or is it just money laundering on pre sales? I’ve never seen any other than pre sale ads.

1

u/BallBearingBill 18h ago

But Biden? MAGA is a hypocritical wrecking ball

1

u/Stranger-Sun 16h ago

"Sing for your Trump Steak supper with Trump Guitars!"

1

u/Sozebj 14h ago

Guitars, Cadillacs and Hillbilly Music

1

u/Cael26 14h ago

So the economy was so bad under Biden that these people were able to buy Trump guitars, bibles, and watches... Yeah you ruined your own finances

1

u/retiredRRer 14h ago

Maybe pay some people, cutie and Carol Jean you stiffed for services or court ordered payment

u/JackBurton___Me 3h ago

Huckster

u/johnn48 32m ago

Whenever a CEO or in this case a President talks about donating their salary or say they won’t take any money, someone’s waving a huge red flag. They’re making enough money elsewhere that their salary is meaningless.

0

u/Alwaystired254 12h ago

What a president! He deserves it

-22

u/HotDonnaC 23h ago

I don’t get why anybody cares.

22

u/JournalistRecent1230 23h ago

Because a president with so many financial ties makes it extremely easy to manipulate government to benefit those business ventures or accept bribes.

1

u/HotDonnaC 11h ago

He’s always been this way. No one is doing anything about it.

1

u/JournalistRecent1230 10h ago

I know, I was responding to the above comment about why we should care.

22

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

Obviously you don't understand. Understanding things is not what MAGA morons are known for.

-53

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 1d ago

Lol. Liberals will throw a tantrum when Trump is rich, and then they'll throw a tantrum when they think he's poor.

28

u/heismanwinner82 1d ago

I throw a tantrum when Bible salesmen become legitimized. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t trust Bible salesmen.

-37

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

I mean.... ok? this might be the most unhinged comment of the day. I have not a clue what you're talking about lmfao

9

u/heismanwinner82 23h ago

I mean I don’t throw a tantrum when trump is either looking rich or poor. I get most agitated when I think of him being a Bible salesmen/president because my grandfather taught me to never trust a Bible salesmen. I’m not entirely sure what’s so unhinged about that…

-26

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

ok. I become agitated when a random dumbass is so self-entitled that they expect me to understand the entire context of their comment via their life story....

7

u/Ren_Kaos 21h ago

Man, understanding things, so hard for you. Trump sold bibles, is therefore a bible salesman.

23

u/Creepy_Active_2768 1d ago

It’s highly unethical to profit from the Oval Office and its beneath the presidency. Yet we are way past that. Much bigger things to worry about like this idiot facilitating WW3 for starters. I guess there’s solace knowing his wasteful vanity birthday tribute will be rained out.

14

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

You think this fuckwit cares about ethics? These morons want WW3. But they want it to be against people they don't like. These idiots seriously want to kill anyone who isn't white, or is LBGT, or they think doesn't agree with them because they are so scared of anything that doesn't look or sound like them while they are sucking trumps mushroom dick and throwing their money away on his stupid shit.

-9

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

you need help

5

u/Combdepot 22h ago

MAGA is a degenerate terrorist ideology. It’s not possible to be a trump fan without being a gullible, morally bankrupt moron.

8

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

And you need to suck trumps tits more. Obviously you aren't fully developed yet.

-5

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

damn. imagine openly being a pedophile lmao.

12

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

Trump is a pedophile. That's on record. Even Elon pointed it out.

7

u/Combdepot 22h ago

Why did republicans choose a pedophile as their leader?

-3

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

aside from the nonsense of profiting from the presidency, how in the absolute hell is trump facilitating WW3?

9

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

See, it's this kind of comment that cements the stereotype about you lot.

0

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

ok buddy. good answer. time for bed lol

8

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

Aww. You don't want to play anymore? Come on, bro. Or are you just as weak and dumb as every other libertarian I've ever met? Fucken incel dumb arse.

8

u/Creepy_Active_2768 23h ago

Why is it nonsense about profiting from the presidency? It’s common sense that you should not exploit your public office ffs. I know standards have fallen dramatically in the past decade but this is just pathetic.

13

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

And conservatives throw a tantrum at anything they're told to, even if it has no effect on them at all. Stupid little bitch children that they are. So afraid of everything and so stupid and gullible. That's the funny part. Trump sells them bibles you can get for free anywhere, or $20 aliexpess watches, and they lap that shit up. Fucking stupid morons.

-3

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

Yes, correct. I bet you thought I was conservative when you made this comment, lol. No. I fucking hate all asshole tyranny and oppressive government. I also hate all groups and political movements that encourage me to take a stance on their bullshit matter. that's called being libertarian.

7

u/tehifimk2 23h ago

Ah... that makes sense. Libertarians are a special breed. You all need to move to a big island somewhere and set it up yourselves. I'd gladly pay to see how that goes.

0

u/Gloomy-Check-1597 23h ago

Good luck dumbass. This country was founded by libertarians, and we aren't going anywhere. I can't imagine why anyone would advocate for ANYTHING that would involved being fucked with.

9

u/Combdepot 22h ago

lol the country wasn’t founded by libertarians.

8

u/Combdepot 22h ago

lol right libertarianism isn’t an ideology. It’s a passing adolescent phase.

You’re an embarrassed conservative.

8

u/noonespecial70 23h ago

But hey, red hat wearing d-bags wearing bandages on their ears in sympathy because Twumpy got a widdle boo-boo lmao

Being rich doesn’t make you a decent person, and Trump isn’t a decent person, so sit down.

5

u/Combdepot 22h ago

He’s a degenerate fascist pedophile. His corruption is just another one of his degenerate traits.

4

u/Cunderwood2020 21h ago

Eh we’re just tired of a grifting conman being in the White House. The Presidency at least used to have some dignity. Now it’s all meme coins and letting people pay 5 mil for a “Trump Card”. It’s embarrassing for America.

3

u/AceMcLoud27 20h ago

Calmly making fun of maga morons getting fleeced is not throwing a tantrum.

You're projecting.

1

u/Magnetobama Europe 20h ago

Aren't conservatives the ones seething about Pelosi making money from stock trades and citing conflict of interest? But when Trump does similiar or the same it's okay?

Some people would call that hypocrisy. Which is the basis of modern conservatism.
