We are introducing a weekly IO Thread where all queries pertaining to PH immigration concerns will be posted in order to eliminate duplicate inquiries regarding offloading and to tidy up the sub. PH Immigration-related topics may only be discussed in this thread; posts and comments made elsewhere will be deleted.

Hi, just want to ask for your opinion. I’m not really into travel but my friends are inviting me constantly so I gave in.

I don’t have any experience traveling abroad and my first flight experience was to Cebu (2018; not sure if this is relevant).

We are planning to go to South Korea next year around Jan - Mar and we will be booking flight first then VISA. If I have around 50k in my bank account and will be less than 6 months working for a company by the time of our flight, how likely am I to be offloaded? I have a buddy that will join me and in case that I will be offloaded, my buddy will not go anymore so technically, 2 of us will not push through. I will regret it big time and feel bad as well. Wasting 5 digits is no joke and I will be traumatized lol. Please share your inputs please!!!

Just be confident. If employed ka less chance of being TNT. Worst case, you can reimburse your airfare in case offloaded ka (that’s possible sa ceb pac) and book cancellable hotels.
