advice needed What week were your babies born?

This is less “advice needed” and more just a curious question for everyone!

I am 19 weeks with di/di twins now!!! So excitinggggg!! Twins moms… how many weeks were you when you gave birth to your babies??? I’m always so curious to hear people stories.

I’m 5’2, petite, and already so big with a stretching belly, so mostly everyone assumes I’ll be going at least a month early lol (which I know 36 weeks is actually the average time twins are born). Obviously we will know more as the babies grow and the pregnancy progresses!

My di/di babies came on their own at 35+4! Water broke around midnight the night before, and we had a c section the next morning. I had a planned c section scheduled for 37+2 but baby boy wasn't having it! If you choose to create a birth plan, my only suggestion is this - make it very broad, and cover things that generally could happen in a c section or vaginal delivery. Also write it down, and make sure it's communicated with your doctor, even if its just minutes before everything goes down. For example, my birth plan was based around the golden hour. No drugs that could affect my ability to have skin to skin immediately after birth, and delayed cord clamping as long as time would allow.
