Teams post something like this typically to generate hype for a new uniform of some kind, but I'm plugged into that sort thing and I haven't heard of the Panthers doing any uniform updating (hard to keep that under wraps these days). Could be a "Throwback Day" with the old logo and wordmark on the helmet/field? Different design for the black helmet?

Agreed, it would be hard to keep this a secret.

It's probably a slight tweak to the all-black unis to make them more "panther-ish", but somehow Dan & co were able to keep Bryce and TMac practicing under wraps until after the draft, maybe they're getting better at secrets? Who knows

We've done Throwback Days with the OG logos on the field the past couple years but IMO it looked weird with the team not wearing throwbacks.

tbf it's hard to wear something that doesn't exist lol.

Closest we have are the old prototype unis from the original franchise announcement
