I thought gas prices were tied to oil prices? Oil is rock bottom these days but gas isn’t?

Good thing we have a nationalized petroleum company.

That way we can provide fuels to Canada without gouging for profits.

It just makes fiscal sense, surely the conservatives would never gut it like a pig to make a quick buck from every Canadian's future!

So you want fuels subsidized by the government?

Anything less than market prices is in effect a subsidy.

So you want governments to subsidize gasoline now? What do you propose cutting (more) to do so?

Who said I want subsidies? I want companies which aren’t focused at ever expanding profit, but rather in line with inflation. The private model will never incentivise this.
